Hi! I was invited to join the directed studies program (was recently accepted to Yale REA) and had a couple questions. How did you structure the rest of your first-year schedule? Did DS help you bond with professors and meet close friends? Also, is DS feasible for STEM majors? Thank you, I really enjoyed your video!

Congrats!! That’s fantastic. I took a theater studies requirement class and Chinese my first two semesters. It’s quite common for ppl to tak DS + a language requirement so 4.5 creds total. I did not particularly bond w profs or classmates, but I know plenty of ppl who did! And def feasible for stem majors-you just have to be a little more meticulous in planning

If you want to become an actor or anyone in the film industry, then I suggest looking into USC, UCLA, and Chapman (all in California). They are specialised in that Art.
