My beard is nice and clean 6-1/2 in beard . I wash it twice a week , use beard oil every day after I take a shower . Been unshaved for over 7 years but this year I am going for as long as I can grow it to see how long it will get.

Ice cream cones can by tricky as well. I agree with you on being hot in the summer - I never noticed that I felt the heat more with a beard than without. As you said, it may actually be less because the sun isn't beating directly on your face. A great way to eat soup with a beard is to not put the soup in a bowl but rather a cup.I drink my soup out of a cup and it tends to be less messy.

Hi Michael great job on your vids! In this vid I noticed you mentioned job hunting/interviewing with a beard. Also I saw your comment below that you went on an interview and they told you that if hired you would have to shave your beard and you told them "No". I was hoping you could do a vid on this. Talk about your recent experiences interviewing with a long beard and how that is going for you. Hopefully you have either found a job or will soon! Your vids are great Michael! One odd thing I've found more difficult with a beard is flossing. Especially the upper teeth. Every once in a while mustache hairs will get driven up by the floss. Kind of a pain. I agree with you on the soup issue. Some sandwiches are also hard to eat. For instance, a sloppy joe is given a whole new meaning with a beard!

I highly recommend mustache wax to anyone with a longer beard who doesn't want to trim their mustache. You don't necessarily have to curl it or anything, but it works great to keep the mustache hairs out of your mouth as well as preventing you from chewing on your mustache hairs while eating. It makes eating sandwiches, burritos, soup, and other sometimes difficult foods a breeze.

I don't eat soup when I'm out but at home it's not difficult if you just skip using the spoon ( I actually use chop sticks instead of a spoon) except for the bigger pieces like meats, vegetables etc., and drink the broth directly from the bowl. Ditch the round bowls and get some square ones. You can drink the broth from the corner of the square bowl with relative ease. Some may consider drinking directly from the bowl bad manners but in some cultures it's quite common so who cares? After all, you're in your on home.

I do not know why anyone would skip on a tip unless you just get horrible, disrespectful service. I have never been a waiter, but I was as a buss-boy when I was very young, and I have been a cook a few times. Waitresses, and waiters just get shit on. It is a hard thankless job most of the time, and it is rarely about how hard you try to do your job well, they catch all the crap from everything to the bad day the customer had before they even came in to the restaurant, up to the failures in the kitchen. Tip these people well, they have a terribly stressful job, and most of them really need the money.

If the beard is well kept, clean, combed and not messy...getting a job should be no problem. Some companies have safety policies not allowing beards though. In the military they don't allow it unless you are in the Navy or Pioneer branch of the Army. Most Peace Officer's and Fire Fighter's can't have a beard for safety reasons again.

Micheal this is your true appearance , this is the way you are supposed to look I have had my beard since it started to grow 'am 69 now . we have almost the same beard , Please remember a man has facial hair a woman dosent . eating men have forgotten how to manage a beard we sikhs roll up the beard under the chin the mustach brush it to the side with a paddle brush and hot water NEVER CUT ANYTHING you are a MAN not a drag queen . the job [Its religous dress and cannot be violated ] this must be practiced until its a knee jerk reaction , Things ar easier now for hair but we still cannot live out our lives in peace . A beard portrays wisdom authority knolage superiority .Let me suggest grow the head hair to terminal length , a braid or poneytail is neet and wind proof . It takes a pair of balloks to look like a man . grooming regular finger raking and combing shampooing conditioning [ I wash my hair evrey other day.[ Most non threatining] Please grow your hair to terminal length NO cutting . Can you get a job with a beard? Can you get a job without a beard? You will never know the reason. Can you get a job that isnt controlling and depressing without shaving your beard to please others? I doubt it.
