I've found that the high minerals in some municipal water supplies (hotel showers) lend to dryer skin as well as difficulties in rinsing off of soap, shampoo or other bath products.

If you steal the do not disturb sign from the hotel I work at you will be charged! They are not the cheap paper type you see in most hotels. We sell them in the gift shop and they are a popular item.

For financial reasons I've really cut back on hair products. Washing hair less frequently, using a bit of coconut oil to tame frizz and add shine to hair. My hair that had thinned is getting thicker again, and i am at an age where it might naturally be thinning. Went down the rabbit hole of people with long healthy shiny hair and what they use. Very interesting, some just use water to wash.
