Beautiful house and grounds, but with 70 year old knees I don't think I can handle the stairs as well as I would want to. That's the main problem with Mrs. Rick's family home in Zambales. Going up and down those stairs multiple times a day gets pretty hurtful.

I was stationed in the 80's at Cubi Point. It looks like you are somewhere close to Subic City. I use to live in Olangapo when I was there. Then I moved on base after I got married. Clean water and full time AC. Is the water drinkable I remember. It was really bad. I had endoscopy procedure done a few years ago. There was some bacteria in my stomach. They said it came from a third world country. I know it was ether the Philippines or Thailand. Thailand I actually got sick from drinking the water. It was the ship getting water from a shore base supplier

VERY good. We get 800 MBPS and extremely reliable connection for $70 USD a month which is much faster than anything I had in the states. They of course have much cheaper plans as well but since I work online it is worth it to pay for the highest plan.

There are few things better in life than sitting with the one you love on a Zambales beach watching the sun go down. On a 10-scale, most evenings are at least a 6 - 7, while 8s and 9s are common, and you'll get a 10-sunset every couple of days.

Because it is imported so the local wet markets don't have any! It just takes a 45 minute drive to the nearest proper supermarket to get some.
