I think you handled that situation very well. I wouldn't have done any different - clearly these people are un-stable in the way they behaved - at the end of the day you know where they live and they don't know anything about you. They are either very brave or stupid or a combination of both?

Sell as bought as seen / signed for /no refunds or warranty .....you cant cant keep fixing shit for people once money has changed hands..

You can invoice him but he will ignore it. You can raise a claim in the small claims court, it’ll take a year for the case to be heard and then it’s down to the judge on the day… Personally I’d put it down to experience, in hindsight you should have loaded the machine onto your trailer before paying….

I could have just got my phone out and recorded , it’s not like I’ve ever had it happen before . But I can always do things differently from now on

Fair play mate. As tempting as it might be to invoice him, possible civil action, etc, I'd probably just walk away. Put it down to a learning curve and continue being successful. It's like you say, he's probably done it before, and I doubt he'll change. I wouldn't be surprised if his mum apologised later also.

Yeah I know it’s not a lot of money in the grand schemes of it , but it’s principle really . And yes his mum was shouting at him whilst we were there

Next time Do what I do I load it onto the Trailer or Someone with me is loading it and making sure that you have Access out ,Switch off the Camera is the best Advice out of the Range of the Cctv and Drop Him 🤣 If you can 😮
