Another tip is if you don’t like some items from the treasure room, drop them on the floor and pick up the empty chest! Your storage will look a lot more aesthetically pleasing:)

I do that too but then I usually end up using the vanilla crates because I really don't like the clicking sound the mine chests make when you open them. It gets old and annoying really fast, at least to me 😅

More tips: A mine pass is expensive, and it's not a "day pass". It only gives you one trip down and back to the surface, so take enough weapons, food & buffs to be down there till as late as you can. Sunday is a good day to go mining, because John's shop is closed. Bush Devils and Glowing Crocs will fight each other, so use that to your advantage ;) Try not to retrace your steps. Keep going forward into "fog of war", even on your way back to the elevator. More chance of finding another treasure chamber! When you arrive in the mine, switch to the Map and bookmark the entrance so you always know when you're heading away from or towards it. Fertiliser *is* worth picking up, because it's a right pain in the ass to make it! If you take the right buffs & food and have the jackhammer, you won't ever need to fight any creature. Just. Keep Running!

idk if this tip is still relevant for anyone, with combat you can switch to a different weapon right after you hit a target to increase dps. i always have 2 weapons on me and switch in between hits.

Wattle brew is where it's at for the mines, gives you better mining so pick will 1 shot non iron nodes, and makes jackhammer even better

Wow I never knew you could pull dinks out like that. When I go to the mines, I take croc meat, fried eggs, torch, battle shovel, jack hammer, keys, boogie board and 2 mining helmets. Use the torch to stun enemies and beat the crap out of them. I don't bother with the bats, if they go to attack, I jump out of the way and go back to mining my ore. When I find a treasure room, when I'm done, I mark it on the map so I know I've been there. I tend to run in circles sometimes 🙃. Boogie board to cross water quickly. I can run through most of the mines before it gets late. I don't bother with rubies that often, but if I do ill where the mining helmet to see where I'm going while running with it. I guess you can use the wheel barrow to carry them if you don't have the motorcycle. I've been there 2 dozen times now and learned the best way to get in and out with as much loot as possible. Love it, such a rush. Best part of the game!

Wattle Brew will boost your mining for 10 minutes and stamina and allow you to smash pretty much everything except big rocks and cars in the mine in one swing with the iron pickaxe. This allows you to just swing as you run to smash every ore in your path to maximize your run for materials. Bottle Brush Brew will boost your combat (attack and defense) and health. Definitely take food that will regenerate both stamina and health so that you take up less inventory and open food ticks without bottlenecking your regen if you're in a tight spot. Also, empty the chests and pick them up. Both of these brews are also great for taking on Alphas, and are great for spare cash if you have a healthy supply. Both Brews are made in the kegs and take 2 days to make, and 10 of the respective plant material. If you can find 20 bat wings from killing bats (rare drop) and can find a bat alter in the deep mines, you can exchange the 20 bat wings for a bat glider. You can store wings at home and take them with you on your runs.

pro tip you dont have to drag every item over.. just hover over and press E or shift left click it will go into inventory or vice versa

Another tip is you need a 2GB above GPU, darkness in mines causes extreme lag.

If you turn up your brightness settings on your computer, you'll be able to see just fine in the mines. If you're using Windows search for "Calibrate display color" in the Start search > Keep clicking next till it reaches the adjust gamma page > Adjust and stop there.
