Re-loading the day also works with beehives if your trying for queen bees. Also, when looking for a good price for ambers and rubys etc. (or just wait until the next day if the price isn't good enough today). The torch flash does have a cool down time on the effect. It takes a couple of minutes (2-5?), or maybe you just have to get far enough away that it stops tracking you and resets its hit points (which also happens when it breaks free from a trap); I'm not sure which.

Wow thank you for sharing the information about the torch, I never knew about that. Also, re-loading the day works on many things, I did reload the day with the NPC's task to receive the exact Fish Catching task for the video. Btw, thanks for watching :)

You can kill the shark after you've caught it with a weapon and get some flakes. Otherwise it will shuffle itself back into the water once it's stopped being stunned.

its really sad that the game doesn't really tell you anything about that; its kinda hard to progress when you dont know what tf youre supposed to be doing and what you can do like i couldn't plant anything because i thought you could bury them using your right mouse button, and THEN only THEN i saw a youtube video on dinkum and they LITERALLY buried them and i was like Woah. thats. Woah
@ztokkiz2 жыл бұрын
Yeah one tip to notice is that plants for burying always have a "Bury" tooltip in the item's description. The other things such as crop seeds are supposed to be planted on soil by using hoe. Just remember if the plant doesn't have "Bury" tooltip, you have to use a hoe to plant them.

The only thing about the stun and trap method is that it seems most, if not all, animals escape the trap with their health regen'ed. Also, something useful that some may not know about thatcan save space is that bug containers are stackable, but only 2 high. A thing to look out for if you play on a friend's server but you're prone to crashing. If you crash during the day, anything you (the not host/client) had in your inventory that you might have grabbed out of a friend's (the world's host) chest is lost. This includes books. My friend lost his fish book because I was using it to find a fish for him and ended up crashing. Luckily it was a book we could repurchase, but now that I know that I always have him use the plant book instead of me. Just in case. On the other hand. Anything you had on you (client side) that you leave in the host's world (with them, in chests, places) stays in their world, but you'll load in with items that you had when you last slept (saved). Ended up unintentionally duplicating a queen bee once because of this. That said, if you're the host for a multiplayer world. Always make sure your friends that joined you have reached the 'saved' state before closing out your world. If you exit before their game saves their character state and inventory resets to their previous morning (this includes any xp they earning during that day).
@ztokkiz2 жыл бұрын
Wow thanks for sharing. The first two tips I figured out myself about a week ago, but the third one is kinda new. If I remember correctly, you can just bring your items from the client-side (your inventory) to the server-side (your friend's world) and then leave the server without sleeping. Your items will be the same on the client-side, but on the server-side your friend also have them too, I think that's the easiest duplication method.
@MsDarkness13132 жыл бұрын
@@ztokkiz That's basiclaly what had happened when my friend got the queen bee and I kept mine, but figured out on accident. The progress lost part was also discovered on accident when he was tired and left too quick. So now we always make sure that I'll tell him I''ve loaded in fully before he clicks that exit. Luckily that session I was mostly focused on organizing the town layout so I didn't really lose much. It's very much a duh that makes sense once you realize, but can be easily looked over if someone's not thinking about it.

Enjoying fishing, I've never caught a fish. This is the most dreadful implementation of fishing I've seen; totally ignore it I refuse to button mash for anyone. More stupidly, I've stabbed lots of sharks to death and never got a shark hunter achievement. Great video by the way.
