Yes. In Florida, well-to-do-elderly are Baker Acted (put under "mental health" observation for 3 days) so that professional guardians etc, can get them under guardianship and strip them of their possessions; this is the same guardianship that is supposed to be protecting the incapacitated. The intent of the law is ignored by judges, magistrates, lawyers. They're like turkey vultures eating us carrion at the side of the road. "Civil liberties" to the court means the boot of the court on the neck of family forever. End of rights and freedoms in order to supposedly "protect" a family member. Reprobate court.
