Thank you God Bless the Clerk's Audit Oversight. This happened to me, I hardly survived severe Battery. Lived outside homeless, starved to death, lived through storms, while my Guardian didn't care that I was screaming for help.

In Wisconsin, all it takes is an RN or PA's signature to start the incompetency/guardian process without even doing a physical or cognitive test of any sort--horrible abuse of the elderly.

@@lauribricker9439 From what Ive learned recently it seems that anyone can petition a court to appoint a guardian for someone even if they are complete strangers. Once a guardian is appointed there is little oversight. It can be very difficult to end a guardianship even if the reason it was established was due to a temporary condition. Guardians that are found to be abusing their positions rarely lose their licenses.
