My daughter has been taking LDN for severe ME/CFS. It has helped tremendously... she has a bit more energy, but her "brain fog" has lifted and she can think clearly for much longer, hold conversations for much longer, and says "I am a person again". As with most medications used for ME/CFS patients, it should be started at very low doses.. 0.5mg per day to start is common, and titrate up slowly. My daughter has reached the 4.5mg level. Each increase in dose caused her to suffer extra "flu-like" symptoms for a few days, then it would clear up and the improvement would be obvious. It hasn't "cured" her... far from it... but her life is much more enjoyable compared to the "pre-LDN" days.

It is now also claimed that LDN helps with insomnia, what do you think about this? Since Naltrexone itself is water soluble, the pharmacy can easily produce LDN itself by dissolving it with distilled water and then dosing it via a pipette to a low dose, what do you think about that?

Could you please tell me of I can diluite N. in H2O or physiological solution. That would allow to personalize dosage more easily. I'm a MD in Italy and I want to try It for my personal problema with long covid like cronic fatigue and headaches. Thanks a lot for your advice

Hello! Did you find an answer to your question? I live in Russia and have the same question. Here I have found one suggestion to dissolve in water and keep in the fridge, but it wasn't from a doctor so I'm not sure if that would be a good idea.

I started taking it since 10 days increasing every 4 days 0.5 mg currently at 1.5mg ,,,, Diagnosed last month with lupus and relapsing Polichondritis I really hope it helps block the disease progression taking it with Hydroxychloroquine,,,, IAM terrified of having to take strong immuno suppressor so all my hopes is in LDN 😢

What are some of the things that patients report when their dose is not tolerated. I am taking it but I’m not sure if I’m needing to give it a few months to adjust or if I need to find another dose. It seems to have triggered some joint pain that wasn’t there before.

When you say, “they can’t tolerate that dosage” what do they experience that you lower dosage?
