hi could you just let me know how a student can get 100% scholarship in NYUAD....I mean on what basis do they give the scholarship....based on academic performance or nationality or something else ...... it would be really helpful if you reply
@DaniellaAruina Жыл бұрын
Scholarships are usually given on a need-blind basis. This means that as long you get in (based on your academic, extracurricular performance, application essays, etc.), NYUAD will most likely cover the amount that you need for the studies, living costs, etc. Hope this helps!

@@DaniellaAruina do emirati get full scolarship and how?
@DaniellaAruina Жыл бұрын
@@mohammadalhashmi6080 yes, they are also eligible for scholarships. As far as know, in addition to the CSS profile all students can fill out to apply for financial aid, there is also the Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed NYUAD Scholarship for Emirati Students. You can find more information here: nyuad.nyu.edu/en/admissions/undergraduate/scholarships-and-financial-aid.html

Hi, I'm studying A levels so will NYUAD consider my O/A level results instead of SAT. Like are there same amount of chances to get in without giving SAT?
@DaniellaAruina10 ай бұрын
NYUAD looks into your application holistically and is test-flexible, so as far as I can tell, either A-levels or SAT should be fine. However, while test results are important, there are other parts of your application that are just as crucial to get in. Hope this helps!

Hello, I’m currently in high school, and I’m considering joining NYUAD. I’ve been a resident in the uae for about 7 years, and I hold an Indian passport. I’m not good at sports and I don’t have too many amazing talents. My strength is my academics. I have a few questions 1. If I get above 95% in my 12th grade boards, what are my chances of getting a scholarship and how much would be covered? 2. I’m planning on taking psychology (I’m not sure if they have that course) would I be able to maintain a friendship with someone who is in my psychology class? Would we be disrupted my different schedules? I’m not exactly sure how universities or semesters work, and I don’t know what timetables are like for each student.

Thank you for reaching out! 1. If you have 95%+ grades, it will definitely make your application stronger. However, it's important to remember that NYUAD looks at candidates' applications holistically, so your essays, recommendation letters, extracurriculars, etc. are just as important. 2. It's definitely possible to maintain friendships with people from other majors, even though you will be most likely taking different classes. You can still have the chance to hang out outside of class / in the dining hall / extracurriculars etc. Personally I had quite a few friends who majored in fields different from mine and it all worked fine :) Hope this helps!

@@DaniellaAruina thanks for the info! It’s really helpful. I also wanted to ask if you’d know how much it would cost for a course in psychology (as well as a minor in music) with no financial aid or scholarship? There’s little to no information on that in the website (or maybe I just missed it)
@DaniellaAruina10 ай бұрын
@@-Sai-7299 sure, you can find the total cost of attendance (2023-2024) here: nyuad.nyu.edu/en/admissions/undergraduate/scholarships-and-financial-aid/cost-of-attendance.html It is the same amount regardless of what you major in, so it's $81,492 / year in 2023-2024 without a scholarship / financial aid.

@@DaniellaAruina 81k in dollars is quite expensive in AED isn’t it? I saw it and istg my eyes popped out of its sockets. I’m trying the best I can to get the scholarship. Is the university generous with it?
