Thank you for the tips. I prefer the spray varnish, however, as you mentioned, they stink very very much 🤭 When I use the brush-on varnish I get streaks most of the time (although I tried different brushes and also a sponge-brush) 🤔 Maybe the tip with a second layer of varnish perpendicular to the first layer is helping with this issue?

That might do the trick! Make sure your brushes are soft synthetic brushes as well!

I can’t see or find the label “satin “ on the can …where is it

Are you referring to a can of varnish? It may not say satin vs gloss on the can - sometimes I need to read the product description online to find out the gloss level. For example, this one says high gloss finish in the description www.jerrysartarama.com/krylon-artist-kamar-varnish-spray-11oz-34756?gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwzIK1BhAuEiwAHQmU3sfpQcChXPjSfI_QEuFxNSI6bVcCFPM8rld9ndzXku88eNIHDGYAJhoCzX4QAvD_BwE
