What we really need to know is High Fructose Corn Syrup is the top ingredient. I prefer sauces that have tomato-based ingredients first, and molasses or cane sugar as the sweetener. Stubbs hit the mark in this regard.

DIY Bbq sauce: 1. Ketchup as much as you want sauce 2. Brown sugar to your sweetness level. 3. Worcesteshire Sauce dash or two. 4. White or Apple cider vinegar dash or two. From here make it your own! Add onions, peppers, whatever you like. Excellent for baking and grilling 😊

G Hughes or any "sugar free" substitute sauce has that horrible sugar free unnatural after taste. I either make my own sauce (super easy and helpful if you're eating low carb), or just use store bought sauces that have natural sugars and go light on the use.

Bull's Eye Hot and Spicy was a winner, but they discontinued it years ago. Sweet Baby Rays Honey Chipotle is the best spicy sauce I have found. Boomer and proud of it.

I am 61 y.o.a. from rural KY. & I make a great bbq sauce, ( smoking meats since i was 9 y.o.a ) but it takes a while & sweet baby ray's bbq sauce is the only retail bbq sauce I use , plus here it is only $ 1.25 for a 12 ounce bottle , it puts all ty those costly sauces to shame except for Stubbs , but Stubbs is costly here . I won't switch from sweet baby ray's .

Kinder’s “Hot” is the best barbecue sauce I’ve ever tasted, bottled and sold in stores! It’s as good as any great homemade sauce! The other types of Kinder’s sauce, is just average, but the one that says “Hot” on the bottle is the best store-bought sauce you can find anywhere! And it’s not that hot, it’s about medium spicy, but the real smoke flavor and the taste of the barbecue sauce is great! Sweet baby Ray’s is not even close!

over the last couple of months a mashed have been doing a LOT more videos like this, i don't mind because i'm in Australia where 90% of the fast food joints they're talking about don't even exist here so i get to see what their food is like....but if i lived in the USA i'd be hating these videos, it's just ALL fast food and commercial products.

Yes,Bullseye was the favorite in a test on America's Test Kitchen. But my all time favorite was my Dad's. In 2qt saucepan he started with Kraft bbq sauce then built on top of that, including a whole lemon cut in half. I could almost eat a whole chicken barbequed in this stuff . ( I think chickens were fed better in the 60's and maybe shipped out at a younger age. My,that crispy skin).I never asked him for the recipe. Hes gone now, thanks for the memories dad.

In addition, it's the one being given prime shelf space, dedicated end caps, and off-isle displays in markets across the country. When I've gone to buy Sauce these past few years, Sweet Baby Ray's on its own has taking up more shelf and floor space than every other brand combined. So when you ask if I see how that works, no. I didn't know any of the history but I've got a big bottle of Sweet Baby Rays BBQ Sauce in my fridge right now. I tried Sweet Baby Rays a few years ago just to try it, not having seen it before. The rest is history. I have never gone back to the sauces that I used to use.
