Great video - La Paz would be an amazing choice for your next home! I live nearby in El Pescadero and BCS is an absolutely wonderful place to call home. I know we have salsa dancing here in Todos Santos so there must be a scene in La Paz - and you could elevate and promote it even more!

It's probably one of Mexico's most unique beaches. Really loved it there. I went by bus early in the morning and it was fine, no stress. I would say it is the most beautiful beach along with Isla Mujeres. If Canal de los Piratas was a beach I would pick that, but it's a lagoon.

We have lived in Mazatlán for the last almost 7 years and have yet to visit LA Paz (although we have gone to Cabo San Lucas twice and stayed for a week each time). You are giving us good reason to do so. We are spoiled by the good seafood available to us in Mazatlán and it's just not the same in Mexico City (even in Polanco). Enjoy your time in the southern Baja!😊❤

Great video guys! I always thought Baja area would be expensive. How did you find the prices? so many Americans from Cali come down, it would seem like everything would be very expensive. The beaches were beautiful tho. Very nice, love the all the blue colors :) the dunes seemed so fun too. Good job Jenny on the board!! Both of you! So fun!

Happy to see you two at Balandra! We agree, most beautiful set of beaches in Mexico in our opinion. And at 0:19 on the other side of where the mushroom rock is, there is a beautiful undeserted beach filled with white sand and sand dunes, and aqua blue, sky blue, turquoise water.

My husband and I have been living here in La Paz for nine months now and we still haven’t gone to Balandra. I think it’s a beautiful beach for photos but I want to go IN the water and actually swim around. I want to few the wave lift me up and set me down and I want to lay on the beach and listen to the waves. Balandra is beautiful for photos and I guess for those who want to go in the water and just walk around but the idea of waiting an hour or MORE just for great photos when I can find plenty of photos on line just is to appeal to us. El Tecelote is my personal favorite. Great beautiful beach, great water and great food can all be found there.

Balandra has really exploded in popularity. I remember when I went it the beach was known, but it didn't really matter when you went and it was just chill. I did not get there early and I didn't wait at all. That was 4 years ago.

Great video guys!! Balandra is beautiful and the sand was the softest white sand I’ve ever felt. While in La Paz, we also visited Playa Coromuel which is very pretty too, the sand is a little courser though. However, Playa Norte at Isla Mujeres is still my fave! !

Spent 10 days in La Paz a few months ago....Also spent a week in Mexico City...Love them both for different reasons.TRying to decide between CDMX and LaPaz as a plce to live.Just not sure if La Paz would get too small. And you need a car there. The nice beaches are a bit out of town. Also not sure how easy it would be in La Paz for a single person to meet people.

I agree with your points here! La Paz didn’t strike us as a great place for a single person looking to meet people. Definitely recommend a car if you don’t want to spend on Ubers/taxis.

Oh, you are the perfect people to ask: Do you know of any dance socials in CDMX (that put a little of everything, salsa, bachata, cumbia, etc. but with people that actually know how to dance and you can dance with whomever is there)? In my neck of the woods, people will say they know how to dance salsa, but they're actually dancing cumbia and there really aren't socials, just dances at festivals and if you don't have someone to go with, you can't dance.
