Though I agree with most you've said there just our opinions , we build our rigs to our tastes and for our needs and money ALWAYS comes into play !! Most of us can't afford crazy expensive diffs or other high end high dollar components but still wanna live the life and sit behind the wheel instead of on the couch .. it's a well known fact that if you have some abilities offroad and stick to obstacles that your rig can do you can have a shit ton of fun even on stock drive train. Personally have ran 37s on stock axels for years without any major issues and most times I created the issues by going harder than the rig should go ! All I'm saying is to reach there own , if your happy on 37s and stock axles and can meet out on the trails more power to ya . When ya wanna go big then your pocket gotta be big most of the time and in today's world we all can't do it. Keep up the great content 👏

Great timing! Our next set of tires will be 37's. I just haven't upgraded the steering box yet ... At 130k miles, it has some issues that i need to address before we put the bigger tires on. Your videos are some of the best ones out there. We're always excited when a new one is out. Keep them coming! Safe trails and see you out there.

The steering box will make a huge difference; and the HD steering links. If it's in your budget do it! I drove from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada to MOAB...which is 4500km...and it was one finger on the wheel most of the time. Honestly, it's never driven better. Thanks for the feedback; heading to Southern BC for some action on the Whipsaw trail and Farnham Glacier in a couple weeks. Tomorrow I'm going to talk about two ways to keep your 3.6 from blowing up! HAHAHA.

When I bought my jeep it came with a lift time million miles drive tran warranty in 2008 And I purchased the life care max warranty. I am a trail guy with 255,000 miles on the jeep. This is the only reason I have not up graded my axcels or steering parts like you have. Been on jeep $$ since 08. I removed my smart bar it was the third one that jeep replaced and the last. So I now have manual. They wouldn't replace the forth set with out voiding my max care warranty. So I went for manual. And kept my warranty.

Yeah that's a pretty good deal; can't say I blame you. I haven't been able to build a consistent wheeling crew so I end up doing a ton of soloing. I want as much piece of mind as I can possibly get.

Did you buy wider than stock axles? Or you running spacers? Or low backspaced wheels? I have a 4 door JK and wondering if it's worth the extra cost to buy a Fusion 44 at 68 inches. I currently have 4.5 backspaced wheels and going to go for 37 inch KO2s (on 35 KO2s right now)

Those are stock width axles. I’m running ProComp steelies with 4.25 BS.

@@JustEmptyEveryPocket thanks! No rubbing issues at flex? Not running spacers? Which tires are you running?
@JustEmptyEveryPocket4 ай бұрын
I had rub on the rear flares with 37x12.50x17. I found this out in Moab lol! I have since done some trimming to the rear flares, but if you plan on going 37+ you’ll probably have to go to flat fenders. 35s should not have any rub at all.

Oh and the tires I am running are the Mickey Thompson Legend MTZ. Best tire I have very had on my Jeep period! I don’t think I’ll ever run anything else.

@@JustEmptyEveryPocket thanks for your help! I watched your video on having to trim the flares. Which sucks because that’s the only thing I haven’t upgraded… I like the look of the stock flares too

Not to sound like a nut!!! Why do you need 37" tries on a 2 door Jeep? 35's are perfect.
@JustEmptyEveryPocket4 ай бұрын
35s are perfect on a 2-door…until you put 37s on :)
