Denise I haven’t been to a church in ages simply because after 30 plus years of church attendance of various denominations, I got tired of wish washy homilies, tea and biscuits, fund raisers, repetitive music designed to whip up the Holy Spirit. Something was missing. I want to be in a church that really teaches the bible. I now feed on the bible through these great teachers, and study the bible for myself - and I have fellowship with Christian friends. Some Christians are horrified that I don’t go to church on Sunday, as if any church would do. Be careful whose spiritual authority you submit to!

K M - My brother, Most churches are not of God! That’s why Jesus said This is church/ synagogue of satan!!! When the Lord is for you! Who can be against you? And if you have to have church at home for a while know you have not forsaken the brethren!!! Why because most “brethren” are not doing God’s will!!! And bad company Corrupts good habits!!! Both of my children were saved and baptized when they were teenagers. They definitely believed, asking many doctrinal questions, yearning to learn more. I must say they didn't always like the answers (for instance no one is given in marriage in Heaven) but they accepted truth. Now in their late 30's they have fallen away, though not completely. I had always believed that one could lose their salvation until the last decade or so. This message has reaffirmed my knowledge that one cannot lose their gift from Christ. WHEW! I continue to pray for them as I always have though.

Everything you are talking about today is what has been heavy on my heart. I feel weighed down because I see the demonic nature coming out in our society. I see it in the way people react to the simplest things. People are enraged unproportional to situations. I have asked our Almighty Father to help me see truth, His truth not what is popular or easy to live with. My eyes are opened and what i thought was acceptable previously, in time i have found its not. I need to be in a congregation that i can be supported in my faith. I follow Pastor Hibbs and all his regular guests on their individual utube chanels. I know we are in the end times, i feel the reving up of difficulties happening on this earth, and pray for people to turn to Jesus now before it's too late. My family is not totally blinded but they do not believe these things and probably think im a little coocoo. i pray for their eyes to be opened to God's truth and i have faith God will do it in time. This one is easy. Jesus said that the ONLY way to the FATHER was THROUGH HIM! The Bible also tells us that there are only two paths...the narrow and the wide. Therefore if you reject Jesus, who is the key to heaven and the Father, then there remains only one other path and it's not heaven. It is "THE CHOICE" that each of us is given.

Here is what I feel I have learned thru the years. We have thousands of Christian denominations with literally that many different teachings. "All" use scriptures and the bible to justify what they teach. By one sacrifice He has made us perfect forever. That doesn't mean perfectly behaved. 1 Samuel 17: 50 "So David "triumphed" over the Philistine with a sling and a stone; without a sword in his hand he struck down the Philistine and "killed" him". Before this sermon, I thought David's stone killed Goliath since the Bible says the stone sank into Goliath's head. I knew David used Goliath's sword to take his head off, but didn't know Goliath could still be alive at this point. To me, this makes this encounter even more courageous on David's part to engage and finish this battle up close and violently. But, in the end, it was still all in the hands of the LORD. WOW!
