Im enjoying all of them. I live in my van, and im planning on thru hiking the AT this year. It would be lovely if you could continue doing recipes for any and all outdoor or vanlife. Maybe do things like lightweight meals that you can do solely from resupplying at a dollar general, ideas from gas stations, how would you pack food for a four or five day hike between resupplies? How would you cook for a bike tour? Canoeing trip?

Maybe you could try doing a budget/cheap backpacking food challenge? That might help with the algorithm, and it might be something that we would enjoy watching.

Meal prep ideas are cool. You have inspired us to think out the boil in bag meals. As a video suggestion, maybe a video of what happens to different stable foods as the run past the expire date. We did the pantry challenge and shared the idea with the MIL. She was not thrilled about tossing stable food just because it is expired. She still has spices from her house in Omaha. She moved to AZ over 20 years ago.

How about different food origins? A peanut mafe sauce with peanut powder. To fancy up packet chicken and veg over rice? Trail koshary (Egyptian)? Muhummara? More mezze or tapas or cicchetti kind of meals? .

Aside from a zigazig-ah, I'd love to see more of your hidden gems you find in a normal grocery store. Those weird bananas, the crispy jalapeños, etc. Something I might be able to find at the last grocery store before going off-grid. Also, every time I clean my kitchen, I think "Chef Corso would do this 10x faster".

I am a type 1 diabetic so I have a very weird love/hate relationship with carbs. Before and during a hike, I do have to carb up (depending on how much elevation gain I expect). But in the evening when I am starving, I need to avoid or limit the carbs before bed. Sooooo, I would really appreciate your innovative ideas and your instructions /demonstrations on how to cook the schizophrenic diabetic food I need. I also love to see you show us the beautiful places you visit.

I enjoy your meal preps, equiment reviews, etc. And if I missed them, basic setup information. I first came across you on a trout fishing discord where the discussion was on hiking into streams out west and it was going to be a couple of days. The Tampa video played to me but that's because my son goes to school there and we've had condos going back to my youth just south of there. Appreciate your channel.

I dehydrate vegetables, cooked lentils and then try to mix and match with store bought dried potatoes, sweet potatoes, and/or pasta but end up with something way too salty or way to bland. A basic recipe with various seasonings and store bought items would be so helpful!

"Middle of Nowhere" may be an idea. I've been on foot in small Hamlets and in big Metropolis and in these situations been no where near more than a variety shop or gas station. Without the convenience of a home and kitchen, standing on a street with the "now what" expression is a tough spot to be in :)

What i want is a recipe book subscription service that allows me to check off tbe books i already have. Press go and every month a book is randomly selected to be sent to me.... As for the channel, day hikes with a good lunch on the trail and a tarail-gate snack....

I’m new to the channel and I love trail meals! I’m no KZbinr but maybe some good ideas would be walking into a store with a limited amount of money and trying to make good trail meals (like your jiffy pbj grits)! Or maybe making trail meals where a main ingredient has to be subbed for an allergy-friendly option. I pretty much just watch for your food and your personality so whatever you do I’ll enjoy
@BiggCliph

Or another idea would be making the same meal but at different weight/price points. Like first you make the meal with a full blown camping stove, skillet, fresh ingredients. And then you make it with a pocket rocket stove and dehydrated ingredients, etc

Hey Chef, big fan, following you for a couple years, ordered a couple of your recipes and tried a few on the trail. What I would like to see if how you would make fresh bread on the trail, backpacking I’ve seen a few KZbinrs make it while camping on a fire but not so much backing packing. I’m sure you can figure a way to make it simple for everybody !
@ChefCorso

Hey Logan. thanks for following along and the idea. Bread with a portable camp stove is a pretty tough one. The heat is so hot and you don't have the opportunity for slow, medium heat to develop and cook bread and form it's structure. But I'll see if I can do some testing away from a campfire to make something happen

hey LT! I have covered group cooking in the past and happy to do more. In the short term, just about all of our recipes are easy to scale up for a larger crew. Just 2x, 3x or 4x. Look to recipes that have rice, pasta or noodles for easy scaling.
