Thanks for the suggestion, i really didnt want to spend nearly $300 for something very limiting, and ONLY for walking! I just want to walk in the comfort of my home. Instead of dealing with the summer heats and then choose to stay inside if i want.

Walking in a pretty major “limited” thing…
@lateinbloom25 күн бұрын
Just be careful bc cheaper price means cheaper parts, often no quality control, extremely limited warranties, and sometimes no customer service. If you're going to use it everyday, make sure it can handle it. I've read reviews and have coworkers who have had to replace cheaper ones in less than a year because the parts wear fast or the motor burns out. There's a reason regular treadmills aren't cheap.

Cost aside, why not a regular treadmill? You'd have to have excellent balance with one of these pads. The only advantage I can see, and yes it's a big one: cheaper and easier to store. The full treadmills have too many unneeded bells and wistles. Thanks for the vid.
@GoTechGeek5 ай бұрын
I think really these are made for storage and for a work from home environment. It is nice that you set this up real quick under your standing desk or in front of the TV or something like that. It is a good way to get some movement in while you are in front of a screen all day. I do wish they would go faster but I get that they don't because they don't have a bar to hold on to.

Great video 👍. Unfortunately I am still curious to find out with the ones that go up to 7mp how it feels to jog on it. Oh one other thing to consider when buying one is if you can stand it up straight for storage some of them you can because of the button lay out.
@lateinbloom25 күн бұрын
I was looking for this, too, initially, but having used a lot of actual treadmills, the cheap ones can be dicey. So if a treadmill made for running can be problematic, it's probably too much to hope a walking pad is going to be able to handle it. Jogging/running increases the force at ground contact, and I just started thinking that the walking pads that go up to a higher speed might not be able to handle the force over time and could wear out faster than some of them already do. So I just decided to get my running in some other way, and keep the walking pad strictly for walking.

@lateinbloom25 күн бұрын
If it's a fire hazard thing, could you put a piece of tempered hardboard (aka Masonite) down? Comes in 4'x2' sheets at most big box home improvement stores. It's thin enough to store just about anywhere (as low as 1/8" thickness) and pretty easy to move around. (Bonus: you can cut hand holds into it to make it easier to move around and make it pretty with patterned contact paper if you want)

@GoTechGeek2 ай бұрын
I store mine vertically all the time. No issues. The only reason I could think of where you might not want to is if your walking pad or treadmill and a lubricant reservoir that could potentially leak. Most walking pads however do not have this.

Yeah. I think if you are setting up and putting away the walking pad that might be annoying but if you keep it in the same spot that is a good way to do it.

I went through two Topulure brand walking pads in 6 months off amazon they are almost $300.00 and overheat along with puking oil out too much and i walk 20 min a day thats it at 3.0 walking speed it gets hot the belt gets catchy and its a mess and i now think imo walking pads are for 60 pound kids and not adults im 227pounds on a 300 pound weight rated shitbox i sent the first back before the 90 days was up hoping it was a flaw got a new one and the same shit happened so there is no trying to save space you have to buy 1 thats as big as your local city county building and deal with it and thats my review of Topulure there JUNK dont buy
