It does have cup holders in the rear, there’s a secondary release mechanism when you push the pen holder in that will cause the cup holders to come out. Clearly someone hasn’t been watching enough Doug Demuro quirks and features.

With 3 Benz past purchases, you should know rear armrest, push once, you get iPad tray, push a second time and cup holders appear. You can turn off the Hey Mercedes on the setting, middle screen. Short Press button on steering when you want to activate it, long press provides Siri if you have an IPhone. It’s all called over engineering.

Cup holders are present in the rear arm rest, just need to give it an extra gentle push.

Quite a nice car, definitely a smoother option compared to the new 5 series. And for the MBuX voice assistant, you can turn it off but it works better if it is connected via the app bc in its basic non-connected form it’s very limited

I love the E Class. Owned a 2014 E350 Coupe with the AMG appearance package that was 305hp with a natural aspiration 3.5l V6, 302hp and was a great car. Got it up to 135k miles and never had a problem. No leaks or anything. Had a near timeless body design, but traded it in for still same body style but 2016 E550 Coupe with the biturbo V8. Very comfortable for long trips, great power, just really can't go wrong with an E Class. I think I'm done with future cars though. Since everything is now 4 cylinder turbos. I'll drive this E550 till the wheels fall off................. and then just replace the wheels and drive it some more lol.

The screens in e class are far better than the tablet trash in s class/other cars. Hopefully next years s class gets similar set up, because it’s horrible. Post COVID Mercedes (minus g class) are just not cutting it for me, but I’d still rather get a MB than other German cars. Lexus is still my go to after a couple GLCs

There is a keyword for the assistant. It's "Mercedes" or Hey Mercedes". However, it also has a auto listening function so every time it thinks your asking about something car related, its going to speak. You have to turn it off in the car settings. I fig the dealer you got it from would have mentioned this to you.

The world has been changed and the cars are too expensive now. Same with new BMW 5 series. We have something which can be called hybrid system and makes the car price as a real E 350 they had before (w211, 212, 213) with 6 cylinder and they were amazing. But now rules have been changed 350 is just some numbers but under the hood you just get the f…..g 4 cylinder engine with “same horse power and torque” ecology ecology ecology everywhere. Now it’s time to say from their side, you don’t like merc… then go and buy the f……g boring Toyota Camry……😂😂😂😂😂

There is no way to excuse the poor engines choice for that price. Fake exhaust, highly intrusive voice assistant that no one needs. At least it looks better than a 5-series. For the price though, a lot of Genesis products are superior and that should worry Merc and BMW

I just bought a 24' Cadillac CT4 Sport 2.0 auto with the Onyx Package. It came with 19' wheels run flat tires and Brembo front calipers. I'm 6'4" and 68' with a bad back and I'll bet it's as hard to get in and out of that much more expensive Mercedes than my Caddy. I doubt I'll keep my Caddy )-;

Idk I think ppl misunderstand the E class it tries to offer what the 213 did not have that is why the extreme change. So at the end you can still buy the 213 and sellers are happy of lower depreciation. If they removed everything different from 214 it is basically a facelift so instead of a facelift they went extreme bc the coming years are just not combustion friendly in all important markets .

The chrome/aluminum tips you see sticking out are just for cosmetics/looks. They’re not real. Which is why when you opt for the E class luxury model, the car doesn’t have any exhaust tips AT ALL. I wish I was able to send pictures thru KZbin to show you as I’m in the garage looking at my car right now

Personally - I don't much care for it. I recently purchased a 23 E350 and I am pleased with it. The extreme tech of the new one is just over the top (Selfie camera?). Also, not a fan of the front end - all that black plastic. The profile is nice though.

Unfortunately your 2023 lost a good deal of value when this model came out. By the way, look close - there’s a good deal of plastic on the front of yours, as well. Of course, the camera is optional and most people won’t order it. This is a bigger car than the 2023 model and isn’t only a face lift. The 2023 is nice, of course (I really don’t care for its bulbous profile and rear) but this is very, very nice. My special order E450 4-Matic arrives at the dealership the first week of May.

There will be no more Mercedes V8s in the USA. Also interesting note, Mercedes will no longer make the Taxi version for the E-Class for Germany/Europe so taxi drivers will have to get by with VW and other makes.

As far as I know, no one is compelled to buy the super screen. I ordered my E450 with open pore maple with aluminum strips dash and matching console. $200 more than the super screen, which I have zero interest in.

The motor is peppy and will keep you passing majority of the cars on the highway. The rest of the stuff is just whining from you. The camera is optional and used for things like video conferencing.
