Hi, I wanted to customize shoes for a very important friend and it's my very first time so I wanted to do a little research b4 I screwed up which is how I came across ur FREAKING AMAZING channel . Anyways getting to the point I wanted to ask are the steps and the acetone the same if the shoes I'll be using are canvas, the shoes are going to be high top converse.

dzenana camovic oh for canvas shoes, you don’t need acetone. But u need to mix paint with GAC 900 with a 1:1 ratio so the paint went be gunky. Gl!

Dude, I used permanent marker to customize my shoes.and I sprayed varnish for long last.But it affected threads on shoe and also tiny spread of ink….Have any solution??

You can use either fabric paint or angelus paint with a 50/50 ratio with angelus softner” i think its called that or even acrylic paint with 50/50 fabric softener ratio since vans are canvas shoes, i hope this helps :))
