I think you have it right on. People may not always agree on everything absolutely. But the Bible is always clear if you let let it be.

Thought-provoking presentation. In your discussion of epistemology, part of what you were saying is the moral argument for God's existence. I used to discount that argument. But I have recently come to value it--along with the cosmological and teleological arguments. Thanks again for a rational, stimulating talk.

If the Bible is Objective Reality, then why is there so many different religions?
@GenuineAltruist2 жыл бұрын
Because not every person has discernment, prays with humility supplication for discernment, crucifies his/her own ego, or puts God's will above their own free will. Man tends to create their own ideas of what they think God "should be" like, rather than accepting Him for who He really is, this is known as idolatry, and one of several reasons for multiple religions. Read, Proverbs 3: 5-6

There are many denominations within Christianity, true. But if you read the Bible(who my many called Christians don’t do) you will find that these many denominations don’t practice what the Bible teaches. Take for example the religions that have statues and paintings which serve as objects of worship. This practice is forbidden by God, yet many follow it and still call themselves Christians. It’s the same with the day of rest. If you go to a Seventh day keeping church, you will find people cooking on the Sabbath day , a practice that God forbids. Yet, many do cook on that day and call themselves Sabbath keepers. No self sacrifice of any kind, results in false religions.

Only one true religion that only one man lived.

My views on Ayn Rand have always been modified by my views in the Bible. What I like about Ayn Rand is not the deeper part of her Philosophy but that she makes it easier to see why Capitalism is better for mankind and freedom than collectivism. However without God it all brakes down and is in the process of doing so now. The USA, despite all it's imperfections, had a backbone or core that got it's reality from God. This is no longer true and is bringing about the destruction of freedom.
