I wish he and his kind could be free and protected in their natural habitat.

Thank you for this video. It's lovely to see him looking so healthy and happy. I recently saw a video (from 10yrs ago) Patrick had just arrived at the zoo. He was showing how clever he was by using tools to get his enrichment/food. Patrick didn't think much of the news correspondent and kept blowing raspberries at him, (I can't say I blame him.) 😂😂 I think it tugs at your heart because they're sociable animals to see him alone, but he's happy and loved which is the most important thing. 💖💖🦍

I consider him a very big introvert.

He truly is! I know so many people are concerned about him, but when I see him, he looks like a very happy gorilla. :-)

WHEN GORILLA PATRICK WAS VERY YOUNG HE ALREADY HAD THE KNOW HOW TO MAKE HIMSELF HAPPY.. HE WOULD DO THINGS THAT TOTALLY AMAZED ME. DEFINITELY HAS A MIND OF HIS OWN. ALL THE FEMALES AT THE TORONTO ZOO LOVED HIM SO MUCH. THEY WERE JUST DYING TO GET THEIR HANDS AND ARMS AROUND HIM. LIKE HIS FATHER BARNEY FROM METRO TORONTO ZOO I TRIED TO FIND SOME LITTLE THING WRONG WITH HIM BUT I COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING, ONLY THAT I COULDN'T TAKE MY EYES OFF HIM FOR A SECOND, BECAUSE HE ALWAYS DID SOMETHING DIFFERENT AND INTERESTING THAT KEPT ME OBSERVING HIM, UNTIL HE LEFT FOR DALLAS ZOO WITH BUDDY JABARI.@@GorillaSeeker

And his head is massive, the proportion of his head to his body is the largest I’ve ever seen on a silverback . From the side profile he looks like a Mandrill!

He really does seem to have a huge head. I don’t know if it’s all skull or a lot of fur.

Hi paddy, look at it this way you don't have to fight for food or attention. Some but not all gorillas don't mind being on their own, unlike humans who have a choice. You will be okay buddy, tomorrow is another day.🦍
