As a Fremantle supporter there's one thing that gets overlooked with what could improve as our forward line is the elephant in the room. That's our post-bye performances as for years we seem to peak at the first half of the year then lose that form after the bye. Last year was also no exception

I am not sure how good of an idea it is to have strong fans of particular clubs on this list. The very high expectations for almost every team are much more notable than in previous seasons.

As a Saints fan, watching from Round 16, it’s happening again! The manic highs of a 5-1 start, standing atop the ladder, only to remember that we’re St Kilda and can’t have nice things. Losing very winnable games and not playing up to our abilities and barely clinging to the 8 by the skin of our teeth. Oh boy its a ride being a Saints fan

As an Adelaide supporter I want to see us get the mid season trouncings under control. We start well and finish well. But if we can complete against the best (plus some more upsets) and put some teams to the sword I'd be very happy

I think all that winning has blown up Richmond supporter heads. I'd be happy if Richmond remained competitive like they did last year but just tried to fix last quarter fade outs, to expect them to win this year because of big draft trades is bonkers. Cast your mind back before 2017 and all i was hoping for was to witness a grand final. Bit of humility wouldn't hurt.

It’s more just that, with half our roster aging out of their prime, and trading away a good portion of our future draft picks for Taranto and Hopper, we’re in win now mode, so we should definitely be expected to be competing for the flag, I’d personally say the benchmark is making the grand final, but if we’re there you’d want us to win.

I would say a passing grade for the Adelaide Crows, as a supporter of that team, 9-11 wins, and definitely closing the gap between good and bad performances, while I don't expect the Crows to make finals this year, I would hope that this year will create the foundations for upcoming finals runs in the coming years. the other thing that will cap it off, is the postseason where the Crows aggressively go after some ready-made players in the free agency period and some in the trade period. so this year should be all about finishing the foundations, and starting to build off of those foundations.

i feel like for Brisbane, the official indicator of an objectively good season is our boys making the grand final and getting out of prelim purgatory, especially with the premiership experience of both Dunkley and Gunston now at the club, but i feel if we finish at the top 4, we can call it a good season. Hawthorn should have their first pick taken off of them because of the scandals surrounding their indigenous Australian players and their aggressive cut indicates to me they’re tanking which is against the rules

Hahahaha what the hell The indigenous stuff have been proven to be tripe, otherwise Shaun Burgoyne, Brad Hill, Chance Bateman, Buddy Franklin, Jarman Impey, Chad Wingard would have said something, and why on earth would Amon come to the club if we were so awful to indigenous players? Also just because Mitchell has adopted a short term pain for long term gain policy doesn't mean we're talking. We tried to win games last season and were a few upsets away from a higher ladder spot I'd much rather him gut the list like he has, than make the mistake of floating around in mediocrity for 20 years like Carlton and Essendon We're not the demons, I'm not seeing record 120 point blow outs week in week out.
