@@elqueso5312 shit you joke but I bought a Pietta 1851 colt when I was 18 to be able to legally carry. Black powder sucks compared to modern guns. Those damn sub compact and micro pistols are really only good for up close and personal self defense, or attacks. You can train and learn better control of the firearm, an get a feel for your shot placement with that firearm. But at distances of like really even over 30 feet, let alone in deer 40 or 50 feet with a micro / sub compact. You're going to get staggered shots and inconsistent results. Whereas compared to even a standard compact, it's insane how much more control and accuracy you've got. An then a full size handgun in comparison to using a sub compact, feels and handles like you're shooting a rifle compared to the kind of accuracy you get. In other words, you can definitely protect yourself with a micro or sub compact sized pistol. But you're not going to stand a very good chance stopping an "active shooter" if something were to ever pop off at the mall or at distance surrounding you. Especially if THEY have a full sized pistol or even a rifle, an you draw attention to yourself firing. You'd better hope that they're a very bad aim, because that's basically what people are equivalent to when using sub compact or micro pistols. Often even if they practice regularly, so you definitely have to practice with a sub/micro in order to really know what the gun is even capable of.

As long as it is in battery when you put it in the holster. From what I've seen revolver people tend to be lax on cleaning and maintenance "because it'll just work bro" and then the cylinder doesn't go all the way into it's notch on holstering because the axis pin is gummed up, and now the hammer won't move because it's out of alignment when you need it
