I am apparently scary but when you think about it Floyd is the complete packaged. And Jade is much scarier in retrospect. I mean Floyd cooks, plays basketball, likes singing and dancing, has healthy skin (I think it’s an Eel thing, cause it was said Jade has good skin too), has fashion sense, and he’s tall. He does have his outbursts but there is an actual theory about why the outbursts happen and if the theory comes true I swear I’m gonna cry.

@@eronmuwu It’s a long explanation just so you know and here it is: Oh but the theory is that the color red that can cause him to either act childish or have a violent outburst. And the one who caused it and actively does this to Floyd is Jade because he doesn’t want Floyd to mature and grow up. This is the evidence: In aside story Floyd was in a pretty good mood, I class he was offered a peppermint Candy (which he likes) but it was the red kind. And he was instantly put in a bad mood. Another example is when he sees Riddle (who has red hair) he instantly gets super childish, he becomes super playful. Another example is in his SSR story he swipes Riddle’s notebook in trade for his blue ink. And acts super childish about it, kinda speaking like a little kid would. And then he traded the notes for a red gem from Kalim. And then after that he has a violent outburst kicking down their school shop’s door to trade the gem with Sam. This is weird cause he wasn’t in a bad mood before and the only thing we know for sure happened between the trade and him going to the shop is him getting the red gem. And lastly is this event story where he wanted these blue shoes but Jade got him the same kind but in red. Now some of this information could be a little off, I’d have to go back and reread some stuff in game and stuff I found online from which the theory came. But, this is mostly what I remember.

I’m not the original creator of the theory (can’t find the original source) I’m just going based on what the theory said and my own observations. There’s just a lot of strange instances with it, and let’s be honest with our selves. Very few characters are gonna have a positive backstory so it’s more than likely a lot of them have bigger underlying issues. But again, it’s just a theory.

Floyd’s my favorite but I swear I’m not the least bit scary 😭 I’m literally the exact opposite of him, shy, introverted, and withdrawn, but it just feels like he can bring out the best in me (even if I end up being fatally wounded from one of his infamous hugs). If he was there, I feel as if I can do anything, try anything, take on the world even if that’s what he got in store for the day. Guess what I’m trying to say is he’s my self confidence booster 😊

I think malleus kinda suffers from the problem that the game keeps him mysterious on purpose and It'sgoing to he a very VERY long time before we finally get to his arc (like as of this writing I think Japan twist is only 38 chapters into the Idia arc) and he gets the development he needs. I just like malleus because he's great for fanfic writing and his design is just fabulous.
