I actually used the 2:01 hairstyle for quite a bit because my brain thought that longer hairstyles meant a bigger hitbox, and so that hairstyle was literally the shortest hairstyle available. I think it looks cute. It definitely gives off 2015 tumblr vibes, though. Then I switched back to the pompadour hairstyle, looked around my plaza one day and noticed how no octo girl wore an afro. I thought, hm, maybe an octo girl wearing an afro would throw some people off, that seems fun. And so I've stuck with that hairstyle ever since. Literally have only been playing this game for not even 4 months and every one of these sp3 hairstyle videos say that afro is some untouchable god tier. It's really funny. Side note: Splatoon 3 finally gave us the option to apply hairstyles to any gender, yet there are some hairstyles that I almost never see on the opposite gender. Like, the og male hairstyle on an inkling girl, or the octotail on an octoling boy. In fact, almost every single octoling boy player I've seen always goes for the most masculine hairstyle available. They never go for the octotail or tentacurls. Yaawnn~ Borriing!!

I play the twisted hairstyle ( 0:42 ). For the funny story, I was playing Inkling Girl's basic long hair, and I saw an animation that I loved, where the main protagonist had this twisted hair, and then I actually went to get my hair cut, and decided to shorten my Inkling's because it made her look really cute 😍! And your description is perfect, I am indeed very chill, I love Turf Wars and making "friends" through "Booyah!" battles. I dabble a bit in Anarchy Battles, but they are more prone to.... Make me lose my patience, so push me back into a more relaxed match 😌

i really wish octolings had more hairstyles in splatoon 3. I find it hard to choose what species I want my character to be, octolings look cool because the suckers are on the top and their hair looks like tentacles more often than inklings do as well as the fact the round ears just feel more natural, however as i said before inklings have more hairstyles to choose from and the raccoon mask around their eyes is really cool
