This goes for both Splatanas (I main the wiper), we don't hate each other but we seek each other out and battle like no one else is on the battlefield just like all those medieval battle scenes where there are hundreds of people attacking each other but somehow leave you and your opponent alone. We also live for the one-shot splat ding noise, It makes the whole match worth it. Even better when against another splatana.

I like the heavy's new look. It's no longer a real-life minigun with pastel colors that shoots ink and more like it's actually made for inkling/octoling turf war. The 3 gallon jug now looks more like a real life one with it's new nozzle angled down, with a small lever you push to release water like on a water dispenser. Other great changes are the metal pipe frame securing the jug, the solid-looking main body connecting the jug to the barrels and the heavy duty tube at the bottom. Practically designed for Splatoon and looks gruntier than before. Shoots fast and fairly long but not too much. Well-deserved since it now looks the part of a lighter balanced hydra

I have to make a confession. As soon as Tenta Missles’ cooldown got nerfed, I slowly stopped using Flingza. And Big Swig is fun, but is cursed with a kit that has a fun sub weapon (in my opinion) and a poopy-garbage-cheeks-low-tier-game-throwing special that only outclasses Reefslider, and not by a long shot. Even if it gets a new kit, I can’t hide behind a Spash Wall without not having a special. Good thing I got into Dualies long before even touching Rollers.

This was me! I kept going with it though and my aim has steadily been improving and i can now reliably kill at a distance. It's actually pretty great for Splat zones in my experience because you can deny a lot of territory with the wail from the mid range and run around to empty areas splatting the zone without anyone paying too much attention to you at relatively low risk (unless someone has tentas or comes at you with a stamper). Just OK in most other ranked modes though, but it is a great support class for turf war especially.

As a REEF LUX 450 main I can attest that what was demonstrated is true and it's funny. Although I use the tenta missiles start of every match, I use em in combination of pressure and free marker of my opponents location and take a few podshots at them if not that I tend to corner them and just spam some shots at them unless they're using something that splats fast such as the splatana or blasters

I tend to swap between Krak-On Roller, Vanilla Slosher, Dapple Dualies, Nautilus 47, and Splatana Stamper. I do agree that Dapples should have a better kit, its current one is more for a support playstyle which doesn't fit Dualies all that well imo. Currently I use aerospray, tri-stringer and Splatana Stamper. I use intensify action a lot so on a good day I can get some decent splats with the stamper, I tend to play asrospray more aggressively then I should sometimes I have both overall splats and most turf inked and tri stringer I mostly just have to hope I can pincer with the killer wail 2.0.

I'm a normal roller main, and you got everything down except for the panic bubble part (for me). I could see this being a problem with other roller mains, but roller is a complete different weapon with the bubbler, as well as the new mobility they added, so I was able to adapt pretty easily to the new special.

If they have another brush player in the other team, I make it my life’s mission to annoy the heck out of them. Even if they don’t have a brush player I try my best to annoy the heck out of them too. 1:14 squeezer main here. known it was a champagne bottle since the design got revealed in splatoon 2 and playing it doesn't hurt my hands at all, you just have to mash at a decently fast but steady pace and not like a lunatic you're right about the touching grass part tho

I main the reef-lux for stages that have a huge starting areas in splat zones, use either the Zapper for the NEStalgia or the Hydra splatling depending of the existence of some "backrow" areas

As a flignza main (I promise it’s not just for missile spam pls don’t hate me), that’s pretty accurate, I wish we still had a sub that is actually somewhat useful, I always forget we don’t have a sub that we throw. I relate to some parts of all the rollers really. Great video!

I'm a fairly new player, but I'm loving my Carbon Roller. I always use the Zipcaster to get to the enemy base and mess up their base before it jumps be back (or I get splat) I almost always get a gold medal for enemy turf because of it :P

Aerospray: you don't play ranked a lot, but you are the only one that actually focuses on turf in turf war, alongside few reef-lux players and the very rare explosher. You actively try to avoid combat, while even reef-lux will try to engage (and usually fail). You think different weapons having different amounts of health would be healthy for the game and you yourself would want to be the tankiest. If you are crazy enough you might use it in splat zones

As a Octobrush main, the 1st and 3rd reasons are exact. Suction Bomb is good but I would love to use inkjet or auto bomb. Maybe even booya bomb because this flank kit isn't very versatile for all modes.

Explosher & Tenta Brella main here. 1. The kit is perfect for Explosher. Point Sensor is at its best with the Explo. Storm can help with combos. Great weapon, it took time to be able to get good with it tho. 2. If you have a Tenta Brella on your team, PLEASE LOOK AT THE MAP FOR THE BEACONS! Literally no one ever uses my beacons when I’m trying to help out. 😢 Also, the shield does not work and gets shot right through, and I always seem to throw off games cuz of it. Hope they buff and fix it soon.
