Wow...I was diagnosed with cancer in Feb on '23...a little before my 60th. I'm in full remission now but my girlfriend went through Hell worrying about me and taking care of me. I can imagine the sheer trauma Fran went through. I am glad she was able to find her way back to bitcoin after all that mess! We, the bitcoin community, owe so much to Hal and we will support Fran and her oh so important cause!!

I had a friend/coworker who was diagnosed with ALS. It started with shoulder issues the doctors couldn't diagnose, then after several months the verdict came in. Once it was diagnosed it only took months for him to go (he didn't want to prolong things for himself and his family). It was scary and sad to watch the rapid progression, and seeing and hearing the emotions in Fran really brought it back for me. I'm not much of a runner, but I think I'm gonna have to get involved in Running Bitcoin some sort of way. Supporting BTC and fighting ALS? Yes, please.

I cried several times during this. Fran, you are every bit as incredible as Hal. You are doing the work that would make him beyond proud, and you don't have to do it but I know if must feel absolutely necessary. This all must be so difficult for you. My heart goes out to you and your family and I will be donating to your charity. My goal is to work towards the half marathon for Hal ❤ thank you for reminding me of emotions of love, and care, and grief in a dark cold world

Here in Canada before patients could "die with dignity" I remember watching a Paid Program late night on TV and the subject was a man with ALS and his journey to "Die with dignity". It was a very moving broadcast. It seems like "keeping someone alive" with this condition is a crime of some kind as the impossible becomes even more impossible. What a tragic condition.

Overall great show. While fascinating to hear about ALS and Fran knew ALOT more than she gives herself credit for, it was a heavy portion of the interview.
