Peter, you are absolutely nailing the UK message. We are different from our US friends and you are the best man to understand that from a bitcoin perspective. Please keep up the good work and the UK people will get it eventually. We will need you at the Bitcoin UK conference!!

This is where some of the best btc conversations happen. Thanks. Side note: as an American, it's easy to forget that, culturally speaking, this freedom and liberty stuff might not be something you were raised with like we were. That makes me appreciate what you're doing more. People who don't adhere to these values tend to never know what they're missing, which is a tragedy. I hope you're able to wake up some of our cousins across the pond because I agree with Will... it will lead to disaster for them down the line if they don't.

Great interview, as always! In Argentina people need Bitcoin and stables (not CBDCs) to save and avoid inflation. As we know what freedom and oppression is, we also value Bitcoin for its decentralized nature.

Great interview, especially the question "what do you value most that the government cannot take away ". Great to know you are loving Austin

since you love Texas so much I highly recommend that you find a reason to come to East Texas! I love all of the big cities in Texas however a lot of the population of those big cities are new folks from different states. A lot of the Texans have moved to the smaller cities outside of the metro areas and the communities are becoming very strong. Love the podcast. Thx Peter!

I really enjoyed this, will seems like hes very level headed and open minded. you guys have had some fantastic episodes lately and i really appreciate how fair you've been with the guests, it sets a great example for some of us antisocial american cowboys who are positioned to defend, it helps remind me that we can embrace a voice that's not native without feeling like we are being corrupted by it, I can listen and take it in and still disagree and that's ok. thanks

Hi Guys, great interview. As a Bitcoiner Brit who lives in the US and loves (but sadly does not live in) Austin, I dug it. You made me want to come back there soon. “The US can print oil” - yes that is correct. Petro dollars, they can print dollars and buy oil for “free”. Something that has been at the back of my mind for a while is the US gov, if they were so inclined, could theoretically print Bitcoin. They could print a few trillion $$, buy up a massive chunk of the BTC supply over a period, then effectively sit on it or delete their keys and that would effectively devalue BTC, if they “deleted” 20, 30+ percent of the supply. Would be a monumental waste of money, but it could kill BTC or at least seriously damage it. Thoughts?

As a Canadian with government provided health care. I still need private insurance for stuff like dental , massage therapy , prescriptions. The truth is dealing with the private insurance providers is painful because you're never 100 percent sure what they cover and the customer service is always vague. Having the government cover everything would be much more ideal

Need more of a co-ordinated movement in the UK when it comes to Bitcoin and Europe in general, or where likely to be left behind by the US and Latin America.

Interesting, you are discussing the value of a social safety net - NHS with someone who has no idea what he pays for his health care 46:41. especially when it is in the 1000's of dollar range per month! Fish #1 - I really think this water stuff is important (if flawed) Fish #2 - What's water? I doubt Will will have any problem paying on chain fees to self custody his Bitcoin, the future man in the street not so much. Though I am sceptical that BTC can fulfil the future promise you seem to believe in, I watch and enjoy 99% of your shows, current format is excellent - good work. Yours Mr Bcash

Like I said many times before, Bitcoin is not about progressives vs conservatives or left vs right, it is about Freedom vs Authoritarianism. Also don’t underestimate the Bitcoiners in Europe. We got Andreas Antonopoulos, Tuur Demeester, PlanB, and many more. Europe has the most known reachable full nodes in the world. And many started thinking about freedom during the Pandemic.

I see "Audience Capture" is the new way of dismissing someone without engaging the ideas and facts. I suppose it's the logical evolution of "His Followers Engage in Harassment".

The central banks are faced with a difficult balancing act, they need to devalue their currency but need it to be strong enough to enable them to borrow in their own currency or they will be unable to afford the interest and exchange rate declines on a mountain of debt.

Open market capitalism? Does that mean anyone can move to the US and sell their labour in that market?

If you are as old as your profile pick you should know by now that the state has way to many freebies for unregulated immigration. Don’t seem like a good faith question.

Individual liberty…. how about being allowed to move to another country and my government will stop taxing me. US is about the only country in the world that taxes citizens who live 100% abroad, even citizens by birth who have never set foot in the US must file returns and pay tax to Uncle Sam.
