True. They never drop any names but in Cypher 2, there's a verse that says "go back to Hawaii". This particular verse is meant for B-free because he is from Hawaii (and ARMYs believe tht Cypher 2 was written as a rebuttal to tht rapper). Other than this, we haven't seen anything related specifically to any individuals.

I think the only time Suga ever dissed someone SOMEWHAT directly was when he quotes the movie “Friend” in Cypher Pt. 2 where he said “You go to Hawaii, go home” in which a lot of fans think was a diss to rapper BFree who is from Hawaii. BFree if you remember told RM and Suga that BTS and idol rappers were more or less “girls” for wearing makeup during a broadcast.

Before I didn't like listening to rap, especially if it is a diss track then rappers would swear and it just seemed ugly eventually. This rapline really made me appreciate rap a lot, because of how intelligent and creative their lyrics are. It is a diss track but it has so much class. And from what I learned from the explanation about how ddaeng was used in korean, it just brought it up to a whole another level.

I've heard a theory that said that the "Bae" in their cyphers and this song is a play between a mocking tone for 'Babe' and an abbreviation from Sunbae/Sunbaenim, a term in Korean that people use to refer to their seniors. One of the things that makes Bangtan Bomb vids special is that the videos began because their managers loved to record them backstage, which is why they know perfectly well the boys' movements on stage (better than those TV crews tbh lol) and the cameraman/person behind these videos are usually either one of their managers or the female staff that Armys refer to as Bangtan Noona

They will help explain the lyrics and the 8 (yes you read that right) different meanings the word Ddaeng takes in this song. There are so many Korean references and things that we as non-Koreans don't understand. The rap becomes SO much better when you get all the disses. There is so much brilliant wordplay in Ddaeng. In addition to all the different meanings of "ddaeng," you have variations of "bae." You have hunnit = 100, bbae (빼) = "take out." With the ongoing Korean card game and gambling metaphor in the song, you can interpret Suga's line as him telling the other losers to "pay up." "Bae" also sounds like "stomach" in Korean. Suga uses this term when he tells the haters that their jealousy will make them sick. You also have the honorifics "sunbae" (seniors) and "hoobae" (juniors). Both sunbaes and hoobaes in the hip-hop community belittled BTS for being overrated idol rappers. So, "bae" can be loosely interpreted as a sarcastic call out or endearment.

One thing you have to realize is that we have barely any idea what is going on behind the scenes - i actually don't think that this "diss" is directed at b-free anymore - i think they are way past that beef to be honest. A lot of people were being rude and straight up awful to BTS to this day and a lot of it comes from other rappers, k-pop fans, the korean entertainment idustry and the western entertainment industry.
