I totally second that! Your sincere and genuine love for them jumps out through the screen, it's so palpable! I just love how excited you get over new vids. Like kids with a new toy and that's so lovely to watch and share. But mostly, though, I love how you can identify every member by name and accord them the proper respect and credit. I know people would usually rave about the 3 youngest while rap enthusiasts rave over the 3 rappers. Which leaves Jin, the oldest. It's ok that you can't gush over him like you do the rest. It's enough that you acknowledge him every chance you get and make sure he's included in this group that he had a part, albeit small, in making this big. Yes, I see you. And my heart just swells with gratitude every single time you do it. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼💜💜💜 I had watched a vid where a letter to the public from the late Jonghyun of Shinee was revealed and it was sad how he described his feeling unnoticed and ignored. Looking at previous videos of him, one would never suspect how blue he was feeling. I guess kpop idols are trained to put on a mask? In his farewell letter, he also wondered how he had lasted that long in the business feeling the way he did before he finally got to breaking point where he had no other avenue except suicide. I'm not saying Jin's story will be the same. I just want to underscore the fact that no matter what, these idols are first and foremost humans with deep feelings that can get hurt. And nothing is more hurtful than being invisible to others. Especially when they have more than paid their dues. 🙏🙏🙏

Olive Oyl Thank you for the compliment! We respect BTS collectively and individually. We definitely have our favs within the group but you are right...each one of them is due honor and attention. My man Jin is a jewel that is hidden in plain sight. He was one of the last members that I noticed but once I did notice him I could not ignore him. His voice is sweet as an angel’s joyful cry and I am starting to see more of his charmingly goofy personality unfold through watching Run BTS...especially episode 11...LOL he had us dying! Every single person is valuable and deserves attention and love. Much love FAM 🤓💜

Blaze BITE YOUR TONGUE! I JUST TURNED 56 AND I LOVE THE HELL OUT OF SOME BTS! I love them because it sounds like 80's and 90's music. That was my high school and early 20's time. Mostly they dont degrade women, they dont sexualize their music, which is good for the kids. They dont talk violence. But the occasional, put a hater in their place is welcomed and needed because they do it tastefully. That is why I love BTS. Just messing with you Blaze. 🤣😂🤣😂 Love you guys too for loving BTS.💜💜💜💜 you nice, Keep going.

Those were words of true divine inspiration. 💜 these guys, what they've been through and their message. These boys are something special because while I've "liked" artists in the past I never had as much of an emotional investment like I do with them now. It hasn't quite been two years but I've laughed with them, cried so many tears with them (both good and bad) because they've encouraged me to start to focus on ME for a change. My own sense of self worth has always been iffy but because of them and their music I've realized that I am worth something. Mere words can't describe the impact and it really saddens me that people all over are too narrow minded to open their hearts or embrace something out of their comfort zone. I'm so very thankful that I clicked on that one video (god knows if I remember which one though!) that led me down this rabbit hole.

My favourite story of the love BTS spreads is one of a woman in her 60’s who lost her husband then a year later her teenage son who took his own life. He was army and so she travels the world to go to all the BTS concerts because they make her feel closer to her son. She spends the day before the show outside the venue talking to all the young armys, listening to their troubles and giving them advice, trying to help as many young people as she can. 💜

If you didn't realize beforehand that loving yourself is important, isn't necessarily bad ^^. It probably means you're already good in appreciating who you are and being confident in yourself. For me I always struggled with accepting how I look and who I am as a person. So BTS really hit home, they helped me to be a better person and that its also important what I think and that others opinions aren't the standard. That I should be happy too. And since then I got a lot more confident and I'm happier in life. You and if you're not happy with yourself you'll always seek someone to fix your problems but that won't work out. The other person won't be happy and I can't rely on others entirely to be happy.

The message of love yourself is so important and I love that they share that. So many people need to hear this message. Being in my 30s, loving myself was not something that came easy to me over the years but now that I realize this, life is so much happier for me. I hope someday I can see one of their concerts in Toronto (since that is the only Canadian city they come to). And their story of coming from nothing to being legends is so inspiring and makes me love them even more. I was never really much into this type of music, I've always been more into rock/alternative but I can't get enough of these guys. I really respect them for what they do. Seeing what they went through breaks my heart, every time I see it. Yet they rose above it all and are not bitter or resentful, to this day! I will forever fight for them.💜

Watching BTS on KZbin is one of the highlights of my day. I absolutely love these young men and what they stand for. As great as they are as performers, that is secondary to who they are as men. They persevered through hard times, death threats, etc., because they have heart. These boys had a dream and worked hard to make that happen. They had to learn to live with each other and navigate becoming young men in a one room apartment. It couldn't have been easy. What does that say about who they are and their true character? They joke around and do things to make us laugh but at the end of the day when it comes to their job and what they love most, they are consummate professionals. Jung Hoseok, my Hope and his eye for detail regarding their performances is an example of how passionate they all are. When I watch the things they do to entertain us, I feel young again in those moments. I cannot name one other artist today that I enjoy the way I do my boys!!! When I watch them, I forget that I'm 68 for a little while. I enjoy watching you all as well guys so thanks for always entertaining us!💜💜💜

Nico, suggestion... If you wanna slow things down a bit one evening, react to the lyrics of BTS' Butterfly. It is simply beautiful and the choreo is right on beat with song and instruments. I am sure that the lady of the house will thank you for it 😘...just sayin. There are quite a few performances but one of my favs is "Comeback Stage BTS Butterfly" Bulletproof Boy Scouts Butterfly Music Core 20160514...not sure about the copyright though.

Tbh they resonate a lot with older people because, like you said, only after you’ve made errors can you look back with age and experience and a little push and realize what you need to do to be better. Younger ppl are still in the process of making the mistakes, so they’ll grow up and look back and see these things with different eyes. I found BTS after 2 bad break ups. I was in a terrible spot, but most importantly everyone around me was telling me that I had to accept what this man was doing and saying to me if I wanted to be in a relationship. Basically saying that I had to bend over and accept that men were like that and I, as a woman need a man, therefore I had to take it. Then comes Fake Love and especially Epiphany telling me I’m the one I should Love. This group from across the sea told me, nah, you don’t need a man, you don’t need to accept what he’s putting you through just to be in a relationship. You need to love yourself. And I’ve been ARMY ever since.

I love this reaction! I started crying around the time when Neeko (hope I spelled it right) started talking about his perspective changing on how to love yourself. It is so true. How else can we be good people in the world towards others if we don't love ourselves? I started watching you guys during quarantine, and you always make my day the same way that a BTS song makes my day. Much love from your fellow Army 💜 Ricosuave

Lol hey I may be 42 but Im not "elderly" just yet ok! ;) A fan ofcourse but been a fan of lots of k-pop for ca 10 years. For me BTS & Kpop in general are really good at bringing together elements from all the different music & groups I listened to in my teens while giving us something new & I mean the dancing just gives it that extra +. I never was really into hiphop though but kpop changed that actually! But also, especially BTS has so much deeper lyrics & brought back my attention to really Listen to the words (in this case written form though since I dont speak korean) I grew up with so many different music genres & a huge passion for music in general, but somewhere along the line in my adulthood I kinda lost my passion for music, k-pop brought that back :) & just for music in general, dont have to be a fan to acknowledge talent & skill & accomplishments, one can still give credit where its due if ya love music without it having it be ones cup of tea :) Great reaction! Stay safe & healthy!

Got a challenge for you guys! Take the letters BTS and make you own acronym defining how you feel about them and explain why. This is for all army! B= Being T= the S= scene Be yourself and stand out. God build you to stand out, not fit in. That’s what I feel like BTS does. I’m checking comments!

That saying of having to "love yourself before you can love others" is 100% true. My whole life I have had next to 0 self love, no confidence and the hate I used to feel everyday towards myself was awful. I love the people that matters to me to death and they are so important to me, but because I always doubt myself, I doubt the people around me. "How can they tolerate to be with me, when I can't even tolerate to be me?". When I was in my late teens, I was sent to therapy for help. But none of the people I talked to was a match, and they all made me feel even worse after leaving. But they did make me look inside myself and try to learn about my own self when I realized the people paid to help me only made it worse. And not long after, I discovered BTS. The funny thing is that I can't remember much from that week, but suddenly I felt this loyalty and gratefulnes to 7 people that I have never met before. It was such a strange concept for me and couldn't understand why I was becoming so obsessed with this boyband. They became my escape from the real world, and where the only people at the time that managed to put a real smile on my face. It was a problem and unhealthy how much I needed BTS, thought about them every minute of the day, hoping to get back to the music and content to actually feel something genuine and good inside of me. Them telling me to love myself is something no one has told me before, and it has never crossed my mind. The people I think about when I think about people loving themselves is the people I feel uncomfortable around, and I dint want to become one of them. But BTS thought me loving oneself is not bad, and very very slowly I was able to accept that I should listen to them because loving myself is not bad. I still have a long long way to go, but with a lot of work and soul searching within myself, I have never been more comfortable with myself. I no longer feel this constant disgust over myself, and I am able do give myself the credit that I have gotten far from where I used to be. And BTS has really been such a big motivation to not just give up, to actually take care of my own well being. The need I used to have to use BTS as an escape is no longer there. I am no longer obsessed with them because I can find happiness outside of BTS now, and I will be forever grateful to them for giving me that much needed push. BTS and BigHit have helped and saved a lot of lives, and my love and loyalty to BTS is not far from what I feel toward my dearest people. WhatchaGot2Say: This channel, you guys is amazing. What you do is give people like me something to look forward to. The main reason I watch you guys is because of BTS, to share this wonderful thing that helped me so much with someone and them actually liking it is a wonderful thing. I can't put it to words how grateful I am for you guys genuine reaction and words. I`m not sure you will ever understand how much happiness you give me just by understanding, even if just a little. I don't need someone to love BTS the way I do, just a bit of genuine interest does amazing things to me. I can't put to words how grateful I am to reactors who are genuine and understanding when it comes to BTS, and you guys, are one of the people I am always waiting for their next upload. You seem like such good people, and I wish the best for all of you. Take care of yourself in these troubled times💜

I don't know how to put it in words but seriously, back then, everytime they received a recognition, it really was a tearful moment. All the respect for each member how they support each other back then when they feel the lowest. Even the ARMYs all around the world really shows support through social media and let the boys feel the warmest virtual hug. Seeing how far they are now makes me feel so so PROUD. They have nothing to prove to anyone. Watching this makes me 😭😭😭

*The Grammy files BTS under “Boy Band” so they get snubbed. *At Award Shows they win for “Social Artist Categories” (Which is great. However why not other categories. Why) *They also still get death threats. *There are people that consider them just as “good dancers” nothing else. *They are not really radio played because the songs are in Korean. Not English. Yet Despacito was played 100x. 🤔🤔🤔 I can keep going. THEY NEED TO BE A SUPERBOWL HALF TIME PERFORMANCE!!! Just saying. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaa 💜💜💜 Your reactions. Also I am in my 40s and an ARMY. First off. Thank you Nico. I am a 45yr old fan. 🤣 Just picking Blaze. I love that you guys as adult males have no shame in loving BTS. It’s beautiful to watch. Second, loving yourself. I have been trying to teach my teen that we don’t look at anything appearance when interacting with people. We focus on their actions. I am sooo grateful that she has BTS because Lord knows teens don’t really listen to their parents. 🤣🤣 Everything is peer and socially driven for them. Getting likes, being popular, etc. I remember this as a teen. All though I believe it is so much harder for teens today. I have always felt like a spaz. But with my kid and I learning and loving BTS I am ok. I can’t dance and have no rhythm, but watching the guys just go all out and just dance like crazy. I have found myself dancing more at home and in my car. I feel more comfortable within my skin. I am soooo appreciative of the fact that they have stayed soo humble given their popularity. They are always looking out for others. I couldn’t be more proud to be a fan of theirs and to have them as a role model for my kid. Thank you so much for all your words of wisdom and heartfelt comments during this reaction video. So grateful to have you all as reactors for BTS. Keep up the great work. 💜💜
