I’m a mess since hearing it. Sobbing. This one just hit different. He chose this song for a reason especially after the online concert. Harry Styles is from the group 1 Direction. When the group disbanded they went on to become solo artist and Harry Styles had become one of the more successful soloist from the group. But Harry Styles also has an amazing voice and Jungkook did an amazing job. He put so much emotion into the song and I love this version. Have been steadily working my way through the archives, FAM, and found this gem today. JK's vocal talent is otherworldly. He's on my very short list of singers who could sing anything--even a page out of an old school phone book--and I'd pay to listen. Charlie Puth said that JK is one of two singers he'd worked with who laid down a perfect vocal, just cut and paste. These covers are evidence of JK's ridiculous range and versatility. This style of singing is actually something he used to do a long time ago… and he def has been able to hold and maintain belts like no one’s business… but ppl just kinda dismiss it or down play it bc it’s another members “style” and can be a bit territorial… jks lower register is something I misss SO much bc he hasn’t been given the chance to highlight that part of his voice in a long time. It’s impossible to know what jungkook can do vocally without listening ti him sing other songs outside of BTS… bc he’s so limited in BTS… they all kind of are bc they get stuck in a certain category.. if that makes sense… but it’s why a lot of people don’t remotely understand how crazy his versatility is !

Off the top of my head, I don’t think JK has ever had the chance to sing an all-out belting ballad like this. This song is about feeling like he’s becoming someone he didn’t want to be and he didn’t like it. Jungkook is one of the best vocalists i've heard, his voice just makes you feel the right emotion.
