Oh man, I remember Way of the Samurai 3... loved it to death. Believe it or not, I actually *got* that 'Grim Reaper' ending, without a guide and without knowing that *it was a thing.* I'd just played it so much, unlocking all the (non-hidden) endings, that I was literally just screwing around, trying to max out all the swords (which, if you've played any Way of the Samurai game, you know is an EXTREMELY time-consuming endeavor) while experimenting with the way the story reacts to your actions and so on. Somewhere along the way, I just randomly thought, "Hey, I bet if I did things in the right order, I could kill *literally everyone* in the game." So I did. Aaaand I was not disappointed! The video here doesn't even mention that you can also get a secret event near the middle of the game that suggests that your character is *literally just completely off his rocker* - one requirement for a 'genocide run' is to join the local bandit-clan, so that you can murder their leader and some other key members of it that don't spawn otherwise. This would normally lead to an event near the middle where you feast with the bandits, setting up the win-conditions for their ending... but if, by then, you've killed *the entire bandit-clan,* and a lot of other people beside, you'll instead get a cutscene where your character is hosting a 'feast' in the empty, blood-spattered bandit-fortress... silently eating raw vegetables, while surrounded by a bunch of farm-animals. All set up in a way that implies, in a wordless fashion, that in the mind of your character, this *is* a grand feast... I remember excitedly jumping on the GameFAQ's forum for the game to share my discovery, people thinking I was making it up, then eventually duplicating the feat... damn, that was a grand old time. I miss the Way of the Samurai games... the last one was nearly ten years ago, and honestly, even that one didn't really live up to the earlier entries. Still played it a ton though!

lol, no Ghost Recon Breakpoint? You can totally kill Walker at the very start when him and his Wolves chase you. Doing so actually changes dialogue, changes the main villain, AND changes the fight where you're supposed to encounter Walker. The game's main villain changes to the Traitor, dialogue reflects you having killed Walker early(something you also unlock if you decide to go straight to his actual boss fight after unlocking Erewhon), AND his boss fight goes from fighting him while he's equipped with a forcefield while he throws waves of Wolves(elite enemies) at you becomes 4 waves of Wolves trying to breach the room you fight Walker in. It's unironically easier to do this if you're playing on the slightly more difficult Immersive Mode since it does away with levels and stats(making it easier to just kill Walker with one well placed shot to the head vs multiple shots to the head WHILE trying to evade him and his OP Wolves)

There is a cute game from rpg maker: Faraway story. It's really well written and super cute, putting you in the shoes of Pia, an aspiring pharmacist who opens a shop in a small port town. Shenanigans ensue and she ends up unknowingly dooming the world, even though she thought she was saving it. The game is not yet complete, the next part of the game puts you in the shoes of her companion Elark, who is a time god and is the one who rewound the time to try and save the world again. The secret ending is while playing as Pia, you get a mission to fight Elark. He will not hold back, very much a "the boss when you fight him vs. when he becomes a party member" meme. He will one shot Pia almost immediately, but with either cheats or enough grinding, she can actually beat this time god. The ending you get is Elark saying Pia no long needs him and her solving all of the current problems of the story and basically becoming a one woman army.

I wouldn't really count Two Worlds, since the ending is the same either way.....a different option that may count would be Disgaea 2, beating either Etna or more notably Laharl in their forced loss battles leads to you getting a non-standard ending for both (Laharl in particular throws an absolute hissy fit since he "never loses" (he's level 1200 when you would be ~lvl 25 when you face him, the story final boss in comparison is lvl 150) and proceeds to blow up the planet in revenge...game still considers it an ending though).

Cyberpunk 2077 Don't Fear The Reaper doesn't have really anything to do with Johnny really liking you. It's about what dialog options you take when talking to him after you looked for his body in the junk yard for him. Chose one thing wrong on the dialog options during that talk and you wont get the option of Dont Fear The Reaper.

@derekbelley1801 Well, 3 things to that number 1 The game gets easier The more you play It as When You Die, you get to come back to the beginning of The Game and keep the skills that you've attained. So, even if it's very difficult for you on your first Go around the second and third and fourth and so on will be easier and easier. 2 I understand the completionist mindstate I'm there with you but sometimes remember to just have fun , and 3 you know your weak point as a gamer so in this instance I'd say you can probably come to terms that you may just not be good at the game , that's how I am with like bioshock I think it looks cool and is pretty interesting but between the mechanics or me just being bad at it I can't get into it
@anti1training2 ай бұрын

@tommystrickland62682 ай бұрын
@anti1training On about my fourth time of starting again after dying i made it through the game like I said they overhype How hard the game is not specifically in this list. Just each time that they talk about it, they act as if the game is impossible to get through. It just takes a little while and you being used to the fact that you're going to die a couple times before you make it all the way through the game without dying
@anti1training2 ай бұрын
@tommystrickland6268 That's great man, I'm proud of ya. But for most people it is infact that hard. It feels impossible sometimes to win the entire game without dying. Not to brag, but I haven't gotten older in game yet... because I can't even get past the first level without dying 😌✨️
