No, it's definitely a reference to _A Link to the Past_ Agahnim fight, same as using an Empty Bottle against Ganondorf in _Ocarina of Time_ and a fishing rod against Ganondorf in _Twilight Princess._ Nintendo just loves this reference.

You don't even need to use the sleep pots against the Godskin Duo. Just summon Delores. Her attacks apply the Sleep debuff, and if you leveled her high enough it'll have a high enough buildup that the duo will be asleep for the whole battle.

There was a boss in the game "oni" with a very exploitable weakness. That boss was a ninja that teleported and shot you with missiles that followed you. The easiest way to beat the fight is: Only use your kicks when beating him. Your kicks have longer range than your fists. When he jumps backwards in order to dodge your fists in order to telleport your kicks can still reach him and interupt the teloprtation process thus locking him to a never ending vulnerable state with no escape.

I may be banished to the shadow realm for this, but the spirit ashes of Dolores the Sleeping Arrow are another great way to prevail over the Godskin Duo. She uses St. Trina's arrows and has the smarts to not wake up an enemy she's already put to sleep, meaning you can focus your attention on a single Godskin and try to avoid the terrain perils.

I didn't know about the bug net trick in Skyward Sword. I essentially beat Demise on the hardest difficulty, because when I first beat the game, I didn't think to intercept the lightning with my own sword. So my many attempts consisted of shield bashing his electrified strikes until I could get ONE of my own in, rinse and repeat. Wasn't until years later I found out just how horribly wrong I was going about the fight.

Not sure how this slipped by, but the Godskin Duo doesn't stay dead if you kill them both at the same time. Their shared pool is larger than their own bars added together, so they'll always respawn at least one of them. Or at least that's how it is if you summon Bernahl, maybe that makes the health pool larger, I've never tried soloing that nightmare fight...

The funny thing about the Demise fight is that you can literally use his 2nd phase strategy against him; have lightning strike Link's sword, and then use the electricity to stun Demise.

1. That way of killing Gunther is pretty famous. 2. He might be a horrible person. But at the same time he is an honorable warrior. IMHO, it's pretty rude to deny him his last chance for a good fight.

I might be remembering it wrong, but in the Demise fight you can also charge your own sword with lightning. Just hold it up long enough. But haven't played since the original release

That trick in “Skyward Sword” also works against Agahnim in “A Link to the Past.” A kid I was friends with when I was growing up figured this out. However, you still need the Master Sword to disable the magical barrier to Hyrule Castle’s Tower. So you can’t just go fight Agahnim early after getting the Bug-Catching Net.

How do they keep not mentioning the trick to Sister El Frida in DS3? Look just opposite of her chair before you go down the stairs to the boss room and you will see the ONLY summon sign in the game that DOES NOT REQUIRE AN EMBER TO BE ACTIVE !!! Click in it to see the message that SLAVE KNIGHT GAEL will be summoned at a later time and place. Fight phase 1 normal then Gael will have a small cutscean like moment as he comes out to help in 2 and 3! This in VERY lore approprate as he is the one who sent you into the painted world in the first place and he and the bosses have a beef of sorts. Also check up the ladder in the chair room to go up to the princess that is Gael's boss for a side Q that related to your fight with him in the Ringed City or you will loss out on an item and completing his Q.

That's not how the Godskin battle works. At least not for me. They keep resurrecting until the health bar at the bottom runs out. I usually kill them 2 times or so each.

For the longest time I thought electrocuting yourself and Draygon was the intended way to go. I never really thought to fight this guy the regular way because of the erratic movement As for the Reaper in Persona 5, it's best to let this guy ambush you if you plan to fight him, because for some reason he only attacks I think once or twice during an ambush while he gets I think 4 turns if you engage him the normal way.

The bug net is surely just a joke reference to the same tactic from A Link to the Past? Also the rocket launcher is where it is in RE4 so that you can use it to blow up the hive rather than having to put up with the Novistador fight in the big chamber beneath it. Why do people think you have to killt the godskin duo close to each other. They have a shared hp bar which means when the hp reaches Zero they just die even if both are still alivrle at the time

The bumper is broken because the Xbox controller has terrible bumper design allowing you to press past the clips before hitting hard plastic bending the plastic till the clips eventually breaks. I went through 2 Xbox controllers while playing through soulsborne games due to aggressive LB mashing. PS5/Nintendo controllers do not have this design flaw.

I wish you’d add timestamps so I don’t have to fast forward all the time. Or so I can know if the video is worth watching. We can fight these bosses however we want Jess. Do we want to use a rocket launcher to one shot Ramon Salazar? Yes we can. Can we use the Bug Net to confuse Demise and sneak in a few hits? Yes we can. Can we use the Grapple Beam to grapple onto electricity and damage the underwater Super Metroid boss that way? Yes we can. If you want to be cheap or get the boss done really quickly, then it doesn’t matter.
