14:42 - The moment that I knew I was going to marry my girlfriend (now my wife of nearly 15 years), happened because of the movie "Dirty Harry". I had learned, earlier that day, that she had never seen the movie. As it is a classic, and I owned it, that would be remedied post haste... we would watch it that very evening after work. At the beginning of the movie, right at the start of the bank heist scene, my wife got up to get a drink from the kitchen, which was right by where my TV was. Since she wouldn't miss any of the action, I didn't bother pausing the movie. Also, she chose to walk between the TV and the couch instead of walking behind it, as it was the same distance either way. However... just as she walked in front of the TV, Harry Callahan, shoots that .44 magnum at the bank robber. Without missing a beat, my wife instantly went, "Eeeh", clutched her side as if hit by the bullet, and fell "dead" in front of the TV. I've never laughed so hard in my entire life... just the sheer speed at which she took a completely unplanned moment, and went for that joke, was impressive.

I remember that there was a potential plot hole in Dragon Age IIs' ending that they addressed in dialogue in Inquisition, then fixed in the Trespasser DLC. The character Leliana makes an appearance in all three Dragon Age games, being a party member in the first game, making a cameo during the second games' ending sequence and becoming one of your advisers in the third. However, it is entirely possible that Leliana actually died in the original game at the players' hand, so her appearing in II was seen as a plot hole. Inquisition added dialogue where Leliana remembers dying and then coming back to life, which doesn't fix the plot hole but does acknowledge its' existence. However, in the ending slides of the Trespasser DLC it is implied that the Leliana seen in both II and Inquisition is not the original, but a fade spirit or other similar being who has taken her form.

If you have the DLC, she has two other appearances before that ending. When Hawke met her at the Viscount Keep, she says "Perhaps the maker didn't feel like it was my time"

I love the resident evil mansion. I always said if I ever hit the lotto for 100's of millions, I would build the mansion for myself. As for all the running back and forth while playing the original. I assumed different people/employees had different keys to access certain rooms, and hid/stored them for safe keeping when the "accident" at the lab happened. That and "its a video game" was like you said, always a good enough answer

As glad as I am that Arkham Origins is on psnow (just played it recently cause technicly it's a christmas game ;)) I still wish it would have been part of the ps4 arkham collection. Cause it's actually a pretty good game, in my opinion one of the bests in the series. Really don't get why it's disliked. Gampley is pretty good, the boss fight are certainly the best in the series. The relationship between batman and Alfred is wonderfully developed and the story itself is pretty good. Not a huge epic like the others but honestly I would argue that this is actually one of the things that makes the story so good.

I didn't think of the why's of the Spencer Mansion in the original Resident Evil. It was an interesting set up, with a great game progression, and it immerse me in the franchise. I love RE HD. But I never thought about the added notes about the mansion. It was wonderful to dive deeper into the lore.

Mass Effect's recalibrated mod made him a Turian before Legendary Edition came out. The community patch is Mele's version of Recalibrated, they didn't need to worry about that anymore Everything in Batman Arkham Origins can be explained, and if you play in the correct order then it's the "later" games that are the "plot holes" lol 😝. The grappler accelerator and the grappler boost aren't the same, boost is actually faster. Harley Quinn's interview tape says it's her first Arkham interview, not the first time she met Joker. I still have questions, like what happened to Shiva. Shiva clearly worked for Ra's al Ghul, but we didn't see her again. Kept hoping they'd do a game set between Arkham Origins & Arkham Asylum to answer some of these questions

As a possible suggestion for next week, a list of script-flipping sequels radically different from their predecessors. These can include, but are not limited to, how Dune was a point-and-click adventure while Dune 2 was the first RTS and how Pac-Man was an iconic maze running game while Pac-Man 2: The New Pac Adventures was...well, hell if I know!

In Risen 2 the protagonist have lost an eye due to the final battle in the first Risen. But in the ending cutscene in Risen 1 you can clearly see the MC doesn't have inury in his eye or even a scratch and burn in his armor.

Yes, remake explained why re1 mansion, and not that long winded speech about how wesker set it up as a test the bow effectiveness and making the stars life miserable in the (I think it was the director cut) original. To be fair with Fallout 3's ending your companions all of a sudden are high tier philosophers and pushing "it's your destiny" - who wouldn't be to try and avoid an utterly excrutiating radiation death? I don't know if this was after their DLC ending patch, but I got Fawkes to turn on the water purifier instead on my second play through and he got the credit as the hero which I think was appropriate.

So... The Mass Effect Trillogy has ANOTHER big plothole that nobody talks about. In the beginning of ME2 there is a cutscene of the Illusive Man Huge Sun Room talking with Miranda. Not hologram Miranda, not robot Miranda. The actual Miranda Lawson inside the Illusive Man's Space Station. One of the major plotpoints in ME3 is to track and find Illusive Man's Lair. Assuming Miranda didn't died during your suicide mission, you could simply ask her where is the location of this station and send a whole Alliance Fleet to shred them to pieces. But instead you have to lose twice to Kai Leng (aka: Discount Store Metal Gear Raiden) and track the movements of his ship to get to this base. A lot of work for Lazy Writing...

I feel like there's still a bit of a plot hole as I feel Haliat should have played a bigger part in the story besides us taking down the orchestrator of the attack on Elysium in a random side mission. I blame villain eccentricities for why there aren't mercenaries as well. That and there might have been mercs but they were tested on and were the zombies you fight during the game.

Little disappointed that Metal Gear Solid 5 didn't pop up on this list. Couldn't stop laughing at the creation of the second Big Boss and then the time line in the end credits explaining you burnt fake Big Boss in MetalGear and then fought real Big Boss in MetalGear 2 fixing the plot hole of burning an enemy to a crisp coming back later.
