In terms of WWE/Wrestlemania, you are correct. He was the workhorse in Saturday's main event and then put on a strong showing in Sunday's opener before being annihilated in Sunday's main. However, if we're looking across the entire landscape of wrestling across the weekend, Speedball Mike Bailey worked 9 shows from Thursday through Saturday.

Night 2 was near perfection and so much better than Night 1. Every match was at least fun with the main event an incredible roller coaster ride. Fantastic. I would have to agree with all ups and no downs, even with me being usually very selective. Snoop Dogg was lots of fun (as always) and more than made up for a terrible Li'l Wayne on Night 1. Bayley vs Iyo Sky was tremendous. The Philly Street Fight was a good ride - not a classic, but a fun match. And the crowd volume and energy was so much louder and better than the freezing Night 1. I loved Night 2. What pro wrestling should be. Golden up.

I’m so puzzled by how many people were confused by Seth Rollins’ part in the main event. He was the MVP of the weekend in my book. He is The Architect. The one last thing he can do to get inside Roman’s head is put on his old Shield gear, and come in to their theme. Roman never got his get-back from that betrayal. He never beat Rollins clean. Not only does the Shield entrance mean that Roman and Rock have to stop and look for him, but Roman sprints across the ring to punch Rollins instead of going after Cody. Rock stops to yell at Rollins instead of hitting Cody with the belt. Then, in the 11th hour, when Roman can finish Cody off for good and win the match, he glances back and sees Rollins clawing his way back to his feet. In that moment, he chooses revenge over victory and hits Seth. SETH IS THE LITERAL SHIELD THAT TAKES THE PUNISHMENT AND LETS CODY GET BACK TO HIS FEET.

Simon, you are fresh from the PPV/PLE doing it live, but you missed the symbolism of Seth Rollins in Shield gear in the main event. he came out..and was Cody's shield, and Seth had said "Cody, I can be your shield" and everyone thought it was metaphorical, but he was speaking literally.. he took the chair shot instead of Cody, and Cody got the win. *chef's kiss* beautiful storytelling.

It definately should have been Austin but if he didn't want to do it well, you can't do much about it. Everything else was glorious nonsense... but also not nonsense. It was actually brilliant. Brother stops brother. Cena stops Sikoa, who beat him. Seth comes down in shield gear, but gets instantly taken out by Roman because Roman knows the Shield, he knows exactly where Seth will be (and because he knows that Seth is his kryptonite and therefore is always the most dangerous guy in the room). Then you have the end. Roman, the chair and two choices. And again... Roman choses Seth because he just can't get past it. Theres a fantastic theme throughout all the mens title matches about focusing on the here and now. Seth doesn't focus on the title, his focused on the Bloodline... and he loses. Drew doesn't focus on the title, he focuses on Punk... and he loses. Roman focuses on Seth instead of the title match... and he loses.

with the end of his title reign, it honestly feels like roman finished a story too. being booked in a way that never was going to get over with the fans, being forced down everyones throats but never being the guy wwe wanted him to be. royal rumble win, rock endorsement, multiple mania main events, and just getting booed by people that could not care at all about him to becoming the tribal chief and becoming THE guy. he doesnt need a rumble win, the rock not needing to lift him to his level but almost seeing if he can keep up, and arguably the biggest main events in mania history. credit to everyone involved but codys story means nothing without the importance and level roman took himself to. every time he came out asking to acknowledge him but now we have no choice but to do so

Props to Drew McIntyre for helping sell the most ignorant chokeslam from heaven ever 😂 The Philly street fight was so much better than it had any business being LA Knight needs a belt. This dude is ready The Orton-KO-Logan Paul triple threat was really good Bayley may possibly be the best seller I have seen in a while. I’m still waiting to hear that she really got hurt and just fought through it. And the main event was wonderfully overbooked in the very best way 😂😂😂 Night 1 was good, night 2 smashed it!

I have no clue why everyone wants Cody to win, he was literally handed 2 wrestlemania main events in a row and 2 royal rumble wins in a row. He was away from wwe for ages then came back like he was always there and just got handed glory. Reigns worked hard for years to get where he is. Even some of the greatest wrestlers haven’t even won 1 royal rumble yet friggin stardust gets handed 2 royal rumble wins in a row. 😂😭💀

I know some people wanted Cody to win, but I feel like it more so that people wanted Roman to lose more than anything.

@@The_Brimada nah I know loads of people wanted Rhodes to win, but loads of people hate reigns since he turned heel. Shows how much talent he has to have such an influence of the crowd, same with Cody Rhodes

That's your problem.

@big_adam_saad8849 I still feel it was more that people wanted Roman to lose than wanting Cody to win regardless. They wanted Sami, Drew, KO, Jey, LA Knight, etc to all beat Roman too. People just wanted Roman to drop his title more than anything. They just wanted to finish Cody's story because that would also be finishing Roman's.

It would've been more greater had Stone Cold also showed up to confront The Rock & Stunner him . Philadelphia is the same placd both wrestled at same WM 25 years ago
