1999 the Rock had AWESOME matches against HHH. this was during the Nation v DX feud was still going on. I'll never forget that every match the Rock had, he did the peoples elbow and EVERY WEEK the moment he did it, the POPs where LOUD. The summerslam ladder match is criminally UNDERRATED- This was about the time that Ladder matches became a common wrestling trope- so that match was still a fresh one (despite the ladder match idea being an old idea of course)

I don't understand the 123kid thing. He was supposed to pin Scott but he didn't havea real contract yet? How was he not supposed to get over when Scott literally did the job for him? Wasn't this whole angle made to get xpac over? Unless you mean it was supposed to be a mentor role for Scott but was overshadowed by how over pac got. I just feel like the situation doesn't belong in the list. 123 was supposed to get over. He just pinned Razor Ramon.

IMO pairing the Miz with Daniel Bryan was genius. Nobody was gonna improve Bryan's wrestling skills at that point, so pairing him with one of the most charismatic superstars on the roster in order to have him benefit from that is a good idea. When AJ and roman were having their bangers, you could tell the crowd was starting to finally understand that Roman wasn't as terrible as they made him out to be. I feel bad for Lance Storm here. WCW proved he could be a decent promo guy, he just tended to be the comedically serious guy rather than a laugh riot. He won all of their mid-card belts at the same time for crying out loud. Unfortunately WWE didn’t really know what to do with him character wise, having apparently forgotten all about Bret Hart and his style, so we got him pairing with Goldust and Hurricane. If you listen to his interview with Chris Van Vliet, you can see Lance is a heck of a talker as well as a technician.
