The premise of this video is incoherent. For one, he said he'd be at the show tonight, which isn't the same as being around for Mania. For two, all we've heard for weeks is that WWE basically have two plans depending on whether Rock is available... which means they've already accounted for if he's going to be involved.

Why does The Rock coming back have to mean plans changed? What if this has been the plan the whole time? Its definitely felt that way, that he'll come back around this time of year again to continue the story. He's been the big lingering factor since last year's WrestleMania, the inevitable Roman and Cody matches that have been teased clear as day. I just dont understand how him being back doesnt fit as a plan this entire time to you guys.

The Rock vs Cody at Mania is way more interesting, and makes way more sense from a storyline perspective, than Cody vs John Cena. So I’m fine with him coming back.

I don’t think The Rock will be feuding with Cody. In the video The Rock uploaded last night announcing his return to the raw debut on netflix, he emphasized heavily on his Samoan heritage and family hierarchy, even proclaiming himself the 'High Chief.' This naturally conflicts with Roman’s 'Tribal Chief' persona, making a feud between The Rock and Roman is much more logical and compelling. A Rock vs. Roman rivalry makes perfect sense and is far more intriguing than The Rock vs. Cody. Meanwhile, Cody could easily feud with either Cena or Punk instead

I think it’s funny that people really think the rock won’t be at Wrestlemania. I feel like there known since last year that he was going to be at this years Mania and just keep making everyone doubt it by putting out reports that he hasn’t commit to it yet. He’s on the board of directors and yes he may be able to come in whenever he pleases but I’m sure he’s committed to it a long time ago and just didn’t want to confirm it so far out to keep people guessing if it would really happen or not

to be fair, Cena doesn't need to be rebuilt. Him being on his retirement tour already kind of lets him be injected into any main event scene if they so wish (they wont, but still). He could also arguable fued with any top guy right now and people would be insanely invested. I think that's just a testament to this value, the fact that we haven't seen him for a while, and the fact that this is his last year. to be clear though, i am NOT campaigning for him to be inserted into the WM main event picture lol
