Sorry, maybe it’s just me. Danhausen was the breaking point for me on aew. I had no idea who is he. He shows up on dynamite. How is he introduced? “ITS DANHAUSEN!!! AND HES EVIL!!!” That’s it. No explanation, no background. Nothing.

The point of the story was that he sells a lot of merch and they don’t use him. Starks and Wardlow are different circumstances as they can actually wrestle but aren’t being used. We also don’t know the whole story with Wardlow, and Starks is more confusing than anything.

Wasn't wardlow out with a knee injury? Starks is mind boggling to be cleared and not be used. Danhausen sells a ton of merch but probably is not easy to book unless you have him lose to everyone and nobody really wants to see him come back and just get squashed every show.

Danhausen did a fantastic promo earlier in the year where he interviewed himself....(On YT) "Delve into the peculiar mind of Danhausen / AEW unresolved mysteries". Was a fantastic piece and hinted at a more Evil Danhausen appearing, looked like he was going to get a push...........And then nothing?? TK is mad not utilizing him, even if it's just in a type of Santino Marella in WWE kind of role, TK is eventually gonna lose him and his merch sales if he's not careful.

I love AEW but there Halloween special was joke. Good matches but, they have Abadon, Danhausen, The House of Black and Dark Order. a giant Minotraur, and guy dressed as a Dinosaur. And they gave us Swerve? Hell even Lio Rush has a Dark Gimmick they could have let out.

"The guy dressed as a dinosaur" (a.k.a. Luchasaurus/Killswitch) is severely injured/sick and almost suffocated due to that. Won't be on TV for quite a while probably. Abadon is great, sadly "banned" to RoH. The "giant Minotaur" (a.k.a. the Beast Mortos) is utilized in pretty much every show lately. House of Black as well - Malakai Black had a singles-match vs. Adam Cole on the Halloween-show, a return-teaser for Julia Hart was on it as well. Dark Order... dunno. To me, the gimmick is dead nowadays. Now, Danhausen (for heavyweight champion! Obviously!)... I "think" there was some fallout over merch last year (if i recall right, he advertised/sold his own merch w/o getting clearance from AEW beforehand. Something like that was reported atleast, and eversince, he vanished from TV >.

I see Danhausen the way some see Jay Uso; all he is, is that annoying sound. Take that away, and his promos drop, significantly, in quality. I find nothing in his gimmick either charming, or funny, so not seeing him on television is all right with me.
