It was both. When Stephanie got pregnant with her first child, Vince first pitched the idea that he would be the father. She refused it, so he pitched Shane being the father. Stephanie refused that too.

You missed Owen Hart. He refused to do a storyline with Jeff Jarrett (one of his closest friends) involving Debra. Vince punished him with the Blue Blazer gimmick (which Owen hated). And the dumb entrance from that stupid gimmick ended up killing him.

I fully agree honestly. Vince was always ridiculously petty for no reason, in my eyes he was a man-child. He gave us many great moments but it doesn't excuse all the other shit he did.

@@gafadin_578 A lot of the moments were done by others, mainly Vince Russo. He also sucks, but his booking during the Attitude era did lead to the resurgence and overtaking WCW in the ratings. The other Vince always had corny stupid ideas that led them to the ratings downfall in the mid ‘90’s.
