Subsurface oceans on ice moons seems to be a reoccurring theme. It would be funny if there were life on all these moons, all evolved enough to communicate with each other and to debate whether or not these small probes coming from Earth represent evidence of life here, in spite of an ocean with no ice cover over most of it, and a heavily oxidizing atmosphere above.

We were lucky we could explore Urananus when we were. They over-engineered the spacecraft to go beyond the original mission and we were fortunate the planets aligned as that will not again for more than 100 years.

It’s the gift that has repeatedly kept on giving for generations now, putting smiles on faces and filling rooms on earth with laughter every day. Astronomers should know a million jokes about Uranus and I don’t think you’re a real astronomer unless you come up with at least one Uranus joke or write a funny essay about Uranus.

Did you guys hear about the ring they found that is made up of asteroid halves? It would seem that Uranus is surrounded by a ring of hemiroids. They are hard to see unless the sunlight hits them just right. That happens twice per orbit, so they usually only start to flare up after about 42 years.

The name never caught on outside the brittish empire, so 30 years later a group of astronomers had a meeting and decided that : George is a silly name for a planet, we shall rename it "Your Anus"...

How is Hubble still in orbit when the now-defunct space shuttle robot arm was required to physically pull it out of low orbit on a regular basis? It has no engines to correct its course, and would have burned up and crashed years ago.

The more I watch your channel, the more I feel like we are all just fish in a river trying to map out our little mating and feeding areas, all while not having a single clue when it comes to water. Even if we figured out water, and that it flows, would we ever be able to map out the river we're inside of? The lakes it feeds, the oceans that link everything together. The planet? The universe is so large. Science seems to consistently fail at even realizing everything is connected and affecting everything else.

My question came up: Does Uranus have rings around it?? Of course, the questioner pronounced it "ur-AN-us" (we're American). We were laughing, and I said, "I don't know, let me go check!!" and pretended that I was heading toward the bathroom. My all-time favorite, no humiliity here ... LOL.

Always found the outer planets & their moons the most intriguing. Some of them being far enough away from the sun to have ice methane ice nitrogen really makes you think about the possibilities of space exploration. ❤ Going into grand solar minimum is having effects on earth too.
