Thanks for sharing this video. Very nostalgic. Brings back so many memories. I was a Vyphius House girl. Colour purple. I graduated 6th form in 1968. It was an ‘all girls’ school when I attended. Lots of changes since then. But still a lot that has not changed.

I attended Bishops for one year before going to Codrington. I remember that corridor. I was in Dewar house if I remember. How nostalgic.

All these kids will be living in a foreign country after graduation. The government has nothing to offer after graduation, unless you are a party member or supporter. Very sad the way things are done in Guyana.

The new Guyana has vast opportunities for ALL it's citizens, if Guyana's success upsets you, feel free to leave and let the people who want to be here rebuild the country from the ruins let by the PNC!

Sadly, security staff are as poorly trained all over the globe at the front line stage which is often the most critical juncture. I have no problem with her denying you permission to enter the site outright as that seems perfectly correct on a construction site. My issue is *her* dithering about what you had said at first etc. She is indulging an unnecessary interpersonal debate when your camera is not even relevant. What you do with your recording from the outer perimeter is not under her jurisdiction. A simple No Entry policy is all she needed to enforce without debate *from her side. * The Why and Who and What was said previously are all narrative paths to conflict from her tasked POV. She needs to be trained to that effect for her own benefit.

I did. She did not have the authority to grant permission. So I stood outside the property. It is within the law to record video from the road.
