Garth: *skids to a stop mere millimeters from a trap* "Slag." *he cursed under his breath and looked for another route* "You want me up there?" *he said while looking toward to the of the tower* "Fine. Let's play your game." Angela: "That's right." *she mused while her right index finger traced the outline of her eye patch* End of the road for you." Garth: *finally reaching the top he leaned against the wall* "One..." *he wheezed* "hell of a view." *he dug through his backpack looking for something that could help him* Angela: "Take your time." *her voiced echoed through the stairway* "I want to enjoy every moment of this." Even to the very end." *she stepped out into the open looking straight at him with her one good eye* "Any last regrets 'old friend'?" She blinked her eyes while slashing wildly with her sword, but he was not attacking. When her vision cleared, she noticed that he was nowhere to be seen. She looked toward the door, but knew that he could not have gotten past her, so she ran to the parapet and looked down. Her eyes widened in shock* "No. No. Nooo. NOOOOOOO!!!!" she screamed at the top of her lungs* Garth: *lying in a wagon full of hay, he looked up the wall along where the hand claw he previously retrieved from his backpack left deep scratches* "Ow." *he muttered* "Better than nothing." *he heard Angela's scream* "Sorry my love." *he whispered, then took a deep breath, got out of the wagon, and limped away as fast as he could, still looking out for any other traps she might have set* "I will kill that demon that cursed you, and finally set you free." *his face hardened* "Whatever it takes." -Me
