This is a pure classic. Fosse's choreography is totally original, and his muse Verdon is - irresistible! And she can sing and act, too, while slinkily executing all the weird Fosse moves. @@jamesduggan7200 ...i say unique in that " a regular "Joe" sells (almost) his soul to the devil to become a young sports figure, only to have the devils messenger, in the shape of a temptress , challenged (to get the job done), and become "two lost souls", with a righteous ending. Sports + musical + fantasy = unique.
