Oooo the full body jump thing on the floor was beautiful and smooth. I was an advanced dance major in highschool. Have you learned about dance terms like yielding yourself to the earth (yield & push, reach & pull) and phrasing? I think every dancer needs to learn these terms whether it's modern or hip hop or ballet. It can change movement for the better and help your core, body and mind be center in the present moment. For example, when dancers do body rolls on the floor usually their heads are tilted off the floor. When dancers do a body roll they should keep their heads on the floor and not hold tension there. Every part of your body should yield itself to gravity. One time I choreographed a dance about falling to the earth from space. It's just amazing that dance is also a physiological phenomena, and not just movement. Appreciating and having awareness/mindfulness of moving through space and time is important when dancing. Just thought I'd give you a lil something I learned that helped me so much as a dancer. It made me appreciate and use my space bigger. It made me feel like the center of space, and that the space around me is mine to move through. Does all that make sense lol? Keep flowing through space Larsen because the heavens are around you when you do 💜
