An honest account and reflection of the many stages I have occupied through the course of my life and career. An impressive track record of starting and managing businesses over the past 20 years. A household name in TV production and the driving force behind well known shows including Top Billing, Pasella, Date My Family, Our Perfect Wedding, Diski Divas just to mention a few. She has had a trailblazing career in TV production with an established track record of creating reality programs bespoke to South Africa. She is co-founder ConnectTV and the Executive Chairperson at Tswelopele Productions. Basetsana’s entrepreneurial streak is not limited to the TV industry, having diverse business interests covering real estate, mining and media.

So blessed to have seen this this morning as a mother of three venturing into business to create not only a legacy for my children but a livelihood I always dreamed I could give them. This morning I heard the words, choose an alter ego and show up as her, the first name that popped into my mind was Bassie. And I thought that was random. 15 minutes later I felt led to open KZbin and look for a TEDTalk by another of my role models and the first one I stumbled upon was Mam Bassie's.
