I know GTA V has its details, but it's missing a lot of the stuff from GTA IV that should've been put in, such as the pedestrians actually doing different stuff instead of just walking around or standing still not doing anything interesting.

Their are NPCs in GTA V that do just that. There are construction workers jackhammering and welding. People sweeping the floors, wiping windows, hiking, jogging and racing. They also interact with animals too such as playing fetch, petting, etc.

I feel as if GTA IV was honestly the best GTA to ever be created. I feel it necessary mainly because it a great story to it. For Niko, it was about finding vengeance. Then it led to more things in America as he was trying to do more things in the land of opportunities as he always said. I mean San Andreas was a great GTA but I feel as GTA IV wins in my opinion.

I never noticed NPC's hiding in corner from cops and never knew that you could've picked the grenades and throw back at them. Lack of many features in 5 from 4 makes 4 being better than 5. The army training combat was/is better than fistfight bar combats in 5. The only between them is RDR melee combat. At least we can bring some annoying NPC's such as Lacey Jonas to altruists. 5 would've been better if Rockstar cared that much for adding most of stuffs in SP instead of only blacklisted in MP where they WANT you to grind 24/7 for them or buy their SC's. Having 2B in singleplayer where you bought everything already but not having Hydra or Jet is hangar selection is... Well, kinda stupid. Saints Row 2-3 for example have to save vehicles in hangar without replacing the stolen one like in 5. And abandoning Story DLC as 'lack of resources' cough bullshit cough - Care for Online only 'free' forced updates Playing Story DLC as Brad way before prologue in retextured expanded NY would've been better. Sometime Rockstar should take a note and take some stuffs from other games and make it better. They did already with RDR from Gun.

Another small attention to detail in IV, is that when you shoot someone until they're on the ground, that person won't count towards your total kill count until they are still (stiff)

Debjit Chowdhury Didn't mean gta5 detail ain't good, but for gta4 to be a 2008 game, and have details people wish to have in gta5 makes me confused to why they never added more details like gta4 in gta5, take picking objects up as an example, or being able to jump and move to the left or right while holding on, gta4 puts a smile on my face, shows how well that game truly was back in the day, now all gta5 will be is, shark cards, shark cards over and over, gta5 online is all about money and obtaining it,of course you don't want to waste time when you cam pay for it, but that's where rockstar gets you, sure I'll admit doing the dlc for free like the heist, and more is good, but most of the time the new dlc cars are always over price for 1 reason only and that it to get as much money out of your wallet as they can, the zonterno was 750k and beats most of the new cars and they are 1mill 2mill price, that's why gta4 was different, don't get me wrong gta5 is a great game, but not online base where every person normally kills you for no reason in jets or tanks when you join a public session.

My two cents to these great GTA IV details videos: NPCs (at least gang members, don't know about usual peds) have separate voice lines for shootouts and hand-to-hand fighting. For example, they won't shout "Give me cover" while they're brawling with smb and vice versa, they won't say "Imma beat you up" when they're in a shootout. They'll use appropriate combat lines for respective situations. This is quite logical but GTA IV seems to be the first game in the series to implement it since in all the previous games enemies just use some generic voice lines both in brawling and shooting and there are no voice lines for specific situations. I've never seen anyone mention this detail and it's really not that noticeable, but if you listen to the characters' voice lines you'll notice it. Thanks for your videos!
