Magnetic fluid, ferrofluid exists for a very long time, especially in hi frequency compression drivers in the pro PA systems and studio monitors, it works extremely well but the problem is when it comes to repairs and replacing diaphragms, the ferrofluid is extremely toxic if not simply poisonous, and when it leaks or gets onto your workbench then you have a massive problem, ferrofluid is very hard to remove or neutralise, had some experience and a colleague of mine nearly lost a hand as the ferrofluid, a tiny amount that got into a tiny scratch that he had on a finger, possibly with advances the ferrofluid is no longer toxic but back then it was…
@PANAFRAZER13 күн бұрын
Ferrofluid has been used by KEF in their tweeters for decades… it’s used for cooling the voice-coil primarily, for better power handling. New England Audio Resource (NEAR) used Ferrofluid to replace the speaker suspension and they sounded awesome. They still do this for their outdoor speakers since ferrofluid is much more durable as a suspension system..check ‘em out if you get a chance.
@jonathanscherer85677 күн бұрын
@@PANAFRAZER The tweeters in my tower speakers, "Paradigm Legends" from 2000, have ferrofluid. They still work like new. It's crazy to think the tech is just now getting into headphones. Well, maybe it's just the earbuds? I can't imagine over ears haven't had the stuff.

The sound quality from these Technics earbuds is truly astonishing; I'm incredibly impressed. They offer excellent value for the price, excelling in all areas and boasting several useful features. The sound quality is exceptional -I'm at a loss for words to describe how good it is. The noise cancellation is also quite good (an 8 out of 10 for me), especially considering sound quality is my top priority. Call quality and noise cancellation have improved significantly from the AZ80 model. They are even more comfortable, and the volume level is much better, overall, everything is improved. I'm very pleased with them, and l'm still in the process of breaking in the drivers.

And btw, I returned my AZ80’s after two days of trying them out… I don’t know what you guys saw in them… I was really disappointed.

@@patriotefrancethefirst4339 I hear you. Lots of people love them. And that’s great. Lots of people love Apple 🍏, and that’s great too. I am embarrassed to say I have a “drawer full of BT earbuds”, and a wall full of wired headphones. It’s my thing. All I can do is tell you, I was crushed when I first listened to my AZ80’s. I continued to listen to them for the next two days, and then I sent them back. I didn’t really assess the call quality, the ambient mode, or the noise canceling strength. Nor did I even consider what I consider to be a robust and excellent iOS App. My disappointment was purely on Sound, which is the most important thing to me. As I mentioned, my ranking right now are, (in order 1-4) Tech AZ100, B&W Pi8, Sennheiser Momentum 4 and the Denon are both great, and both have flaws. And I forgot to mention, it really should be a top 5, and I would add the Status Audio Between 3NC. On sound… they stack up evenly or surpass the Sennheiser & Denon, and they are pretty cheap now. And as I mentioned before, the SOUNDPEATS Capsule3 Pro + are fire!🔥 And they are better than the EarFun Air Pro 4, which are also great. PS. I love Ron, and his channel. He’s so experienced, honest, humble & transparent. And still, he mentions that his opinion is his own. Sound is totally subjective. Some of us may have hearing loss, so a louder earbud may sound better to us, and so on. I’m a former drummer. My son is a drummer. 🥁 I key in on all percussion ahead of some other sound categories. I’m a hip hop boy, even at 60, so I love my bass; (but I prefer quality bass).

I’m currently usingg them as I type this. I’ve got all the main buds culprits and these win hands down. Even the default settings sound amazing. They sparkle better than any high end set I have. Even the high bass settings don’t make the highs kind of disappear, for want of a better word. Got directly from the Panasonic website, and as a first purchase got 10% off too. Takes them down to AirPods Pro territory, and they’re good, but these are well above them, quality wise. If you’re in the market for a primo set of buds, you won’t do better I reckon.

What would you say comparing these with the B&O Beoplay EX and Elevens? I own the AZ80 and EX and the EX literally destroys the AZ80. So I'm just wondering how much is the improvement in terms of sound quality compared to the AZ80s.

@thomasferrarojr.9772 I've got both and they're not even comparable in terms of sound quality. I thought the AZ80 sounds fantastic until I got the EX.

They have the best NC

No, they're not IP58 rated, I don't know where the info came from but it's wrong. The AZ100s are only IPX4 rated, just like the AZ80s. So please everyone, don't bury these in sand.

Nasa tech is not impressive anymore The SLS’ Block 1 configuration measures 322 feet tall. The core stages comes in at 212 feet. The Starship(spacex) , on the other hand, measures around 400 feet. The ship itself measures 164 feet, while the booster measures 230 feet. Launch cost: In March 2022, it emerged it could cost up to $4.1 billion. Starship launch could cost just $2 million a turn Again nasa tech is not as impressive as it used to be dei ruined it

Haha 😂 DEI is not just ruining video games & Star Wars, now it's bringing down starships. When will it end. Maybe they'll replace that flag on the moon to 😆
