I think another great battery saving tip is Background Usage Limits. Settings > Battery & Device Care > Battery > Background usage limits. Then you can select which apps use data and wifi in the background and how frequently. This saves a ton of battery as fewer apps pinging for data thus using less network and power.

Depending on what you do, adaptive refresh rate can save you significant amounts of battery life over 60 hz. If you do lots of gaming, then having it be set to 60 hz is likely better, but if you read a lot of emails or ebooks and such, the adaptive refresh rate will save significant amounts of battery. And even for the gaming bit, a number of games let you limit the frames per second, allowing your adaptive refresh rate to be set to that as well. While with the 60 hz it will lock itself to 60 hz no matter what.

At 2:04 you might have confused WiFi Calling with VoLTE - "Voice over LTE" won't work if you have no mobile signal as it uses that mobile signal's data portion to transfer voice (using better audio codecs - you might have noticed HD symbol in calls? Great tips. I definitely didn't turn down vibration intensity since the new vibration motor in the S22U sucks compared to my old N20 Ultra, that's why I have the intemsity turned up to max, along with vibration duration. I kept the refresh rate at adaptive QHD+ since that's one of the major features of this phone over other phones, but I do have adaptive brightness turn on and I use the extra dim setting while in-doors. For my theme I use Nova Launcher and always black everything out, literally the only colors on my phone for backgrounds is black, and all text is red even for the notification shade.
@tendomanoka40822 жыл бұрын
Man I couldn't imagine being so caught up in battery life that I would turn my phone into a bleak, boring , and frankly just not worth it. I literally have all accent colors and a nice baby blue to match my theme black onion because I love the blue over black but I changed the background themes default background into this oilspill like picture that's very colorful and how you say turning down refresh rate pulls away from the quality of the phone, well having nothing but black does the same thing. What's the point of refresh rate when all you look at is bleak nothingness. I swear people are so boring.
@NonLegitNation22 жыл бұрын
@@tendomanoka4082 I see it the complete opposite, not only does it look sleek it's also easier on the eyes in dark environments, it's better for the phone screen (Inever have to worry about burn in), and overall just looks cool. I've always been a fan of dark mode and black modes on my devices, obviously I have it on my phone and i also have dark mode enabled on my PC including dark mode for firefox, chrome and any app that will allow dark mode. For me the major reason for it is its just easier for me to look at. Idk if I'm especially sensitive to bright lights but I just like having everything dimmer. I do have a very colorfull background image along with a rgb live lockscreen wallpaper. It's really to each their own, that's the great thing about android is that you can customize it how you like it. And as an added bones the dark mode helps battery life.

@@NonLegitNation2 ohhhhhh I seee, ok see I was under the impression that your phone looked like a Jiant black brick xD also burn in doesn't have to do either just color, white light in particular can cause bad burn in, I had an old android that had the keyboard burnt into the screen, literally could see the emoji symbol and all there text keys.

@@abdullahafzalkhan8414 I've had mine for a while now, I upgraded from that galaxy s9+ and to be honest, I can see a minor difference, screen quality is better, load times I literally wouldn't be able to tell the difference unless they where side by side. All honesty the zoom is amazing, definitely the selling point, because I took a pretty crisp photo of the moon that took up the majority of the photo, that's how good the zoom is. I have had problems with vibration, say your walking with the natural bumping going on in your pocket, that bumping overpowers the vibration and you miss a lot of stuff unless your ringer is constantly on. As for its size, I'm exactly 6 foot and I got some fairly large hands, even so it's a chore to hold this phone up. I recommend you not using your phone above your face when laying down because it's gonna hurt, bad, like it's really heavy. Gaming on it isn't much fun because hands start cramping in the pinkeys and wrist after a while. Also if your thinking of getting the galaxy buds pro.. don't, if anything get the pro 2. If you have any other questions let me know. Also battery life is not a problem, don't sweat attempting to make it last longer because it already goes through the whole day anyway.

The thing that gave me double battery life was to stop the option to charge to 85% to "preserve" the battery. I'm using the Exynos version, btw. Thank me later. :)

This also worked well for me. I don't know what's going on with that 85% option. Next is to try switching off fast charging
