Sony WF C510 - Are They Flagship KILLER Earbuds?

Purchased these yesterday from HMV impulse buy. Had 700Ns in my ears at the time . Very pleasant to listen and still quite high tech despite low cost. Need updating soon as possible.

You did right, A40s are better : about the same battery life, better sound, wireless charging, strong ANC. Let's be honest, Sony doesn't compete vs Soundcore, Soundpeats and other brands nowadays, except with higher end models.

These are the most comfortable ear/headphones I've ever worn; you can almost forget they're in. Clear and warm sound. Slightly mid heavy and you really need the bass up and mid down on the software EQ for reasonable bass response. Unbelievable value.

I have the sony wf c500, unfortunately on its 11th month, the left earbuds does not turn on, Luckily I still have warranty and sony replace it with brand new sealed WfC510,

unfortunately all their in ear tws have fit issues for my ear can't fit well as the bud are always too big or in weird shape.

For me only the WF-XM5 are way too big, both the C700 and C500 are smaller and fit much better

I recently bought this product on cyber monday, theyre great when not using the mic. I went on a walk today (Dec 31st- on a windy day in the UK) n the recordings of my voice were very distorted, due to the wind. 😅

Ya I just picked them up and I have them hooked up to my iPhone and Macbook. Now I did connect them to my Legion Go but windows default sound settings are kinda garbage so be prepared for that.

There's new linkbuds out there now. I've not had a chance to test them myself but I've seen a few of the American KZbinrs have got them

@@WhatGear ah wow literally now. Cool. Before the S I had the original donut shaped linkbuds, loved them but something reviewers didn't tell is that they were so fragile... My first pair lasted couple of months, luckly Amazon gave me a replacement and they lasted 6 months(same problem for both, crackling sound with one of them) so I switched to the S because priority for me was comfort since I use earbuds a lot and I fell in love with them and I was scared Sony dropped the "linkbuds" project. Luckly both new version seem really cool so if my S decide to die I have a great replacement. Thank you for the answer

I have the wi-c300 and honestly it's pretty trash. Sony's midrange and lower end just aren't worth it. I bought a pair QCY T16 which blow those, even the C500 out of the water.

@@lavatr8322 Never tried those but they should sound alright. It doesn't have Aptx Adaptive like the T16 so it might sound worse. I think the best thing about the T16 is that it is simultaneous streaming like the WF-XM5

I think SONY is the only TWS maker that doesn't fall for that STEM DESIGN Bullshite that everyone follows like a sheep (look at samsung,oneplus) literally hats off to SONY to fit all that in the small space (because obviously with stem design we get that extra space) NO but hats off to SONY for sticking to Original design and their own way of doing things. They do sound good, but I have a weird issue with it when I'm walking with them. I hear some kind of pop sound or increased of volume, the issue only happens when I'm walking with them.

You may have enabled your ambient sound setting, simply click your left bud once to set it on or off.

Love my Sony WF C500, worked great for years. Right earphone volume is now way down though, assume as I damaged it whilst cleaning. Great to see WF C510 with new features, now just need to choose between these or doubling up for the WF-C700N....

Good review. These don't seem like a very good value. Especially when there are buds like the Nothing Buds Pro 2 out there for the same price. The Nothing has ANC, more than 1 extra charge from the case, dual drivers (11mm and 6mm), ldac, bass boost, pass through mode, and much more. Just way more bang for the buck.

I have sony wf1000mx4 and using it more than one year.. u already know how much good is this one.. but after updating, battery draining is so faster.. i had downtrade the version..didnt worked well.. Do u recommend this c510.. or c700 .. i don't mind about the anc.. all i prefer is good sound quality

Considering this is priced similar to the Soundcore Space A40 and the Galaxy Buds FE, it's a disappointment.
